Both of my children attended this school, and I can honestly say that I have watched them grow--not only academically, but socially, emotionally, and as little human beings. The foundation they received here has meant so much to our family. There are things being said about this facility that I simply cannot agree with based on my own experience as a parent. I can only speak from what I have personally seen, and what I have seen is dedicated teachers who care about children, work hard, and give so much of themselves every day. My little one struggled when he first started. Adjusting was not easy for him, but the teachers never gave up on him. They were patient, loving, and understanding. They helped him feel safe, helped him settle in, and helped him learn. That kind of impact goes far beyond a classroom. Those are memories and skills that stay with a child. By the time children move on to TK, they are prepared in so many ways. They know their letters and numbers, but more importantly, they have learned how to communicate, socialize, follow routines, show manners, and become more independent. Even simple things made a huge difference in our home. My children used to want to eat only in their high chairs or while I followed them around the house. This school taught them how to sit at the table, eat properly, follow routines, and be part of a group. Those may seem like small things to some people, but as a parent, I know how meaningful they are. I want to give a special thank you to Ms. Deb and every teacher who has poured their time, patience, energy, and heart into these children. You may not always realize how much parents notice, but we do. We see the long days. We see the patience. We see the effort. And we see the difference you make. People can write whatever they want, but my children's growth is something I have witnessed with my own eyes. That is my experience, and that is what I choose to speak about. I am truly sad to see wonderful teachers move on, even though I know they deserve every opportunity that comes their way. She will tell you that she keeps them thought Kindergarten & they will transition into 1st grade. Well,this is only true if you kiddo has a DOB that's before September 1st. If it's anytime after they will have to enroll as a kindergartner. Also kindergarten is not a requirement! Once they turn 6yrs of age they must be enrolled somewhere and the school district should have record of this. Pearlite isn't registered under the school district. It's License as a in home daycare ONLY. Do yourself a favor and enroll your kids in either a T-K program or Kindergarten. Plus all of the curriculum is old & out dated! She isn't t current on what kids are learning today, not much STEM going on more ABC's and lots of geography & songs back when people owned slaves!

As my daughter turned 1 yr old, we started sending her to a different day care and for that entire one year she cried not even a single day missed. And the answer from that day care I use to rec was she will get use to it.. it was heartbreaking every time I use to drop off my daughter.. As soon as my daughter turned two, I started searching for a new day care.. and lucky me, my stars were shining and I landed in Pearlite house of children day care... had an initial talk with Miss Indira and the day one my daughter was smiling and giggling with her.. It was such a relief... Now at the age of 4, my daughter still goes to Miss Indira and everyday is a learning/ playing day for her.. Miss Indira take cares of her each day care kid as her own kid.. By 2 my son was organizing toys and cleaning up his mess, she teaches them good manners, how to be kind to others, she feeds them the best homemade food (no junk food) and she truly loves these kids like her own. She helps with potty training and she takes the kids to the park. Her house is immaculately clean and her backyard is beautiful. In 3 years she never called in sick and her reliability is impeccable. When we went to tour the school, my son seemed instantly comfortable and didn't want anything to do with us which was how we knew this was the place for him. He was usually a Velcro child and we couldn't be further than an arms reach from him without him freaking out. The school is always VERY clean, decorated so nicely with kids artwork and so cute for holidays, and they have a sweet chicken that loves the kids! All of the staff is so sweet, patient, and understanding. My son had a hard time adjusting to not being home with me all day and was later diagnosed with autism and they never once made him feel less than. Instead, they were able to pick up on his needs like needing his schedule to stay the same, how to talk to him when he's doing something he shouldn't without him freaking out, and helped in his potty training journey. He is now almost 5 and aging out soon but I couldn't be more grateful for everything they have done for him. Our daughter is currently enrolled since she turned 18 months and everyday she comes home with new words (she just turned 2), loves the staff, and loves her friends and environment there. If you choose a preschool for your child , let it be this one, you won't be disappointed.
