One of a few bar areas in the space
    Susan C.

Pros: spaced out, comfortable lounge and table seating. Pretty quiet. Plenty of drinks (coffee/tea/wine/beer/sodas) from the three different drink stations in the room. Plenty of outlets. Clean bathrooms. Proficient and courteous staff that come around to pick up used plates/glasses. Cons: not much in terms of food options, when I was there, they basically had some small danishes and a kinda sad looking fruit salad. No full service bar. Didn't see any separate enclosed work spaces or resting/shower facilities. Ok for a short 1-2 hour layover where you want to get some work done and stay hydrated. Otherwise would recommend roaming the airport for more entertainment/shopping/food.

If you're a Priority Pass holder, there are two Aspire Lounges at Schiphol Airport. Unlike #42 where there is a wait at times, I've always walked right into #26 in Terminal One. Here's my experience: 1) Food: For breakfast, they have meats, cheeses, vegetables, a soup, rolls, and several pastries. The mini chocolate croissants are surprisingly warm and tasty. 2) Drinks: They have soda fountains, water, wine and beer, and several espresso machines throughout the lounge. 3) Space: It's one large room with all types of seating from high top tables to booths to tables. Outlets are everywhere and the wifi is easy to access and strong. 4) Service: Staff are pleasant and frequently roam the room cleaning up dirty dishes.

    Expect a largely vegetarian spread.

I've been here twice and it was mediocre and below average both times. The food offerings are lackluster and bland - entree type food wasn't offered, not even warm appetizers. It's usually a small spread of sliced bread or pastries and vegetables. There's a wider assortment of beverages - alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Despite a line at check in, it moves pretty fast and finding a place to sit inside wasn't a problem. Just have lower expectations, especially when compared to other international lounges, this one is unfortunately a little subpar.

What this lounge has going for it is a place to sit with fewer people, clean bathroom, and tea. Hot cocoa. Alcohol if you want that -- bitter lemon tonic or tomato juice you can use to make a mixed drink, or straight if you prefer, or pull your own beer. That was slightly entertaining. I'm desperate. Food is lame. Pasta looks gross and I'm having that in the plane anyway. Apple is tasteless and only fruit option. Vegetables: cucumbers and olives Then we have potato salad with mayo: not risking that. Sliced ham. Sliced cheese. Bread. Mini muffins. Soup that looks dairy based. Chips. Found space for 2 fairly easily -- but near bathroom and housekeeping has left it's maintenance door open so there is a security beep every 5 seconds. The tables available were dirty.

Worst lounge I've been to in Europe so far. Limited food. Bad layout. This place is before passport control in lounge area. Fresh squeezed juice isn't fresh squeezed. Heineken on tap is about only good thing here. Can't recommend especially since you still need to get through long line through passport control. On side note it was nice to have corn soup.

Nothing. Literally nothing worth coming here. Crowded, with the ambience of a US United lounge. Food: hard pan cooked eggs, a fruit salad, turkey and cheese. Alcohol: vodka, wine , Heineken. No outlets in allot of seating area makes this a mess. Literally barely worth the time to write this. Also note it's about a ten minute brush walk from Lufthansa gate B area. No boarding time announcements. Go elsewhere!

The lounge it's pretty difficult to find. They have a self service bar with wine, beers and hard liquor. It was pretty messy a lot of the seating had dirty dishes sitting at them. The food was okay. The view is pretty.

This lounge is for Star Alliance gold members and located in upper level next to the passport control. As most star alliance (austrian, swiss and lufthansa) depart from the gates about 10 min walk away so it is quite far. The offerings are quite limited with salad and one warm dish (cous cous in sept 2017). No shower.

Not quite sure why everyone is poo pooing on this lounge but for someone who travels domestically a lot more than internationally, this is way better than the shi-t hole united lounges across America. Sure, it's not as wondrous as the magical ANA lounge in Japan or as blissful as the luxurious Korean Air lounge in Seoul, but for me, right now in Amsterdam waiting for my long journey back to the states, this lounge works. Because if I have to eat one more slab of gaddamn tilamok cheese on a pepperidge farm cracker I am going to barf my intestines out. Do United lounges have self serve hard liquor and wine? No. Do they have self-serve beer on tap that you can pour yourself? No. Do they have bottled waters, soups, olives, potato salad, chips, cream cheese, toast and much more? No. I rest my case your honor. Submitted.

When we were here around 2-3 pm it was crowded but there is a calmer area in the back. The selection of salty snacks and alcoholic drinks is decent. Two types of beer! Selection of cakes/cookies/sweet snack was - I wouldn't say poor but on the poor side. Soup was served but not much else. I like the lounge anyway and it was clean and fresh.

Overcrowded, so no seats. Only good if you're looking to get drunk standing up, i.e. there's booze and limited snacks.

I gained entry because of Star Alliance and EVA, but it is a hefty walk from the G gates. If you want to give Aspire a try and your plane departs from F or G, give yourself 15 minutes even if using the moving sidewalks. Luckily the last two times in Aspire I was able to grab at small table by the windows. Tip 1: Watch who is getting ready to leave. Tip 2: Electrical outlets are hidden under the windows near the floor, and you will get on your hands and knees to find them and plug in. Hot food is Indonesian inspired, and was meh. Pretty bland for Indonesian, but maybe that's the typical guest palate. I thought the mushroom cream soup was really good and I went back for seconds. One beer is on tap, the rest are bottled. Wine was really cheap generic Spanish red and white. Basic liquor was available and all beverages were self-serve. Table bus and clean staff were good and made frequent rounds. Aspire makes me curious if the One World lounge which shares the entrance is the same or better or worse. Maybe a Yelper knows.

It took me about 15 minutes to walk to the lounge and another 20 minutes to get from the lounge to my gate, so plan on losing 35-40 minutes just walking. Once inside, though, it was comfortable and a nice place to relax. The food selection was just okay, but there were decent drink options, including a self-service bar where you can make your own cocktails. I also appreciated the ice cream station, which was a nice touch. Overall, it's a pleasant lounge experience--just be sure to allow extra time if your gate is in the non-Schengen area.

We had flown in from Las Vegas (9 hour and 5 minute flight, the longest flight I've ever been on so far) and were waiting to board our flight to Budapest to start our two-week long journey to Europe. I'm probably going to get a ton of heat from saying this, but this here was my first time traveling outside the United States, and Amsterdam Schiphol was the very first European airport I've been in (while this is true, Hungary actually ended up being the first European country I've stepped foot in). This lounge also wasn't a very far walk from our assigned gate. This lounge is huge and they have plenty of seating all around. While I didn't get the chance to try their food, I ended up trying their coffee, which will always be my go-to drink anytime I end up inside of an airport lounge. From what I've been told, the coffee in Amsterdam is really good, and being the coffee lover I am, I'm looking forward to it once we actually make our way back there. Using the coffee machine was a little confusing at first, but eventually I got the hang of it. Showers are included if you're just coming off a very long flight and require a connecting flight. The restrooms here, while smaller than the ones I'm used to back at home, are also clean and very well kept. We may return to this lounge on our way back home to Las Vegas, depending on what gate we may end up in.

The interior is modern and perhaps a bit futuristic, a lot of white shiny surfaces but still warm and inviting due to brown fabrics, fake fireplace, etc... The lounge provides an excellent way to relax before a flight. The Food and Beverage offerings change through the day to match with people's needs for the particular time of day. Their is usually soup, warm savoury snacks, cheeses, fresh olives, two types of salads, fresh bread buns, cheese, meat, etc. At certain times of the day there are also nice sweet offerings, like macaroons, chocolate cake, etc. The products on offer are always of good quality and are tasty. The fizzy drinks are nicely presented in small bottles (no no 'post mix' taps) in fridges and I have never seen an empty fridge. I'm not much of a wine drinker so I can't comment on the choice of wines nor about their quality. There is a good WIFI connection, downloading a tv show from iTunes doesn't take very long (though the speed will obviously vary). Toilets are clean, one very spacious near the end of the lounge and smaller ones near the entrance. A nice enough selection of magazines and international newspapers. The lounge offers speedy border passage with their dedicated security lanes (they can be a lifesaver) for both Schengen countries as non-Schengen countries (iris scan). All in all, if you travel regularly through Schiphol this lounge offers good value! There are extra services for car owners who want to park as close to the runway as possible. As I don't have a car I can't comment on those...
