The food selection is appalling; one soup, cold cuts/cheese, bread, radish/cucumber slices and peanuts. Staff brought out a basket of fruit randomly a few hours into our visit. Not worth it if even if you have Priortiy Pass. Business class flyers can hop right in but cardholders for Priortiy Pass and other programs have to get in line, and only starting three hours before departure (not boarding). For a gargantuan airport like Schipol, they either should offer more lounges or streamline the process so more people with access can reap the benefits of their memberships. I understand trying to make Business and First class flyers feel special (if I was flying Business, I would want the experience to be worth every penny), but then maybe offer a smaller or more basic lounge for everyone else that is easily accessible? Pros: spaced out, comfortable lounge and table seating. Pretty quiet. Plenty of drinks (coffee/tea/wine/beer/sodas) from the three different drink stations in the room. Plenty of outlets. Clean bathrooms. Proficient and courteous staff that come around to pick up used plates/glasses. Cons: not much in terms of food options, when I was there, they basically had some small danishes and a kinda sad looking fruit salad. No full service bar. Didn't see any separate enclosed work spaces or resting/shower facilities. Ok for a short 1-2 hour layover where you want to get some work done and stay hydrated. Otherwise would recommend roaming the airport for more entertainment/shopping/food. read more

If you're a Priority Pass holder, there are two Aspire Lounges at Schiphol Airport. Unlike #42 where there is a wait at times, I've always walked right into #26 in Terminal One. Here's my experience: 1) Food: For breakfast, they have meats, cheeses, vegetables, a soup, rolls, and several pastries. The mini chocolate croissants are surprisingly warm and tasty. 2) Drinks: They have soda fountains, water, wine and beer, and several espresso machines throughout the lounge. 3) Space: It's one large room with all types of seating from high top tables to booths to tables. Outlets are everywhere and the wifi is easy to access and strong. 4) Service: Staff are pleasant and frequently roam the room cleaning up dirty dishes. read more

Yes, you have to pay to enter it, which is not free (Unless you have a Priority Pass). But what is free is the number of fruit flies/bar flies in this place. They need to clean properly in there and get some traps. The food is okay for a lounge, and saying it is okay is a stretch. They do have a coke machine, which is great. They were out of wine glasses and never restocked them. The decor needs updating badly. It is someplace to hang out, but do not come here getting your hopes up for a fantastic place. Also, make sure you bring repellant for the flies. read more

I've been here twice and it was mediocre and below average both times. The food offerings are lackluster and bland - entree type food wasn't offered, not even warm appetizers. It's usually a small spread of sliced bread or pastries and vegetables. There's a wider assortment of beverages - alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Despite a line at check in, it moves pretty fast and finding a place to sit inside wasn't a problem. Is it the best airport lounge I've been to? No. Is it the worst airport lounge I've been to? I can't remember any particularly bad experiences. It's just meh. This is a priority pass lounge which is nice because I haven't seen one of those in a while. The space is pretty big with big and clean bathrooms. It wasn't clear to me which stalls were occupied and weren't so I made the unfortunate decision of using a stall with a half open door which was likely used by the person washing their hands as I entered. Even more unfortunate was I'm pretty sure they dropped a deuce in there. If this is my worst luck on a travel day, I'll take it. We were there in the morning and the drink offerings consisted of soft drinks, coffee drinks, beer, wine all self service. The food included croissants, pan au chocolat, a variety of rolls, fruit, and yogurt. There were some pancakes which were pretty good. There was also a very small array of cold cuts and sliced cheese. Like I said, I've seen better. The tables were mostly clean when we arrived and there was plenty of space to sit. What this lounge has going for it is a place to sit with fewer people, clean bathroom, and tea. Hot cocoa. Alcohol if you want that -- bitter lemon tonic or tomato juice you can use to make a mixed drink, or straight if you prefer, or pull your own beer. That was slightly entertaining. I'm desperate. Food is lame. Pasta looks gross and I'm having that in the plane anyway. Apple is tasteless and only fruit option. Airy rectangular space with many plants, with restrooms convenient and clean. Good WiFi, chargers, and plants make this a pleasant PP space. Having self-serve alcohol is a big plus, but having absolutely nothing salty to go along with the alcohol is a crime. Nothing. Literally nothing worth coming here. Crowded, with the ambience of a US United lounge. Food: hard pan cooked eggs, a fruit salad, turkey and cheese. Alcohol: vodka, wine , Heineken. No outlets in allot of seating area makes this a mess. Literally barely worth the time to write this. Also note it's about a ten minute brush walk from Lufthansa gate B area. As most star alliance (austrian, swiss and lufthansa) depart from the gates about 10 min walk away so it is quite far. Sure, it's not as wondrous as the magical ANA lounge in Japan or as blissful as the luxurious Korean Air lounge in Seoul, but for me, right now in Amsterdam waiting for my long journey back to the states, this lounge works. Because if I have to eat one more slab of gaddamn tilamok cheese on a pepperidge farm cracker I am going to barf my intestines out. Do United lounges have self serve hard liquor and wine? No. Do they have self-serve beer on tap that you can pour yourself? No. Do they have bottled waters, soups, olives, potato salad, chips, cream cheese, toast and much more? Nothing out of the ordinary. This is a lounge shared by all the airlines that are not in the KLM Club (Skyteam). It has coffee, instant soup, some pastries and cheap wines (well, for me they are). The seating area was not crowded when I was there... sofa seats and a small area with chairs and desk if you want to do some work. Bathrooms were ok... not super clean, but not like a cinema either. For internet, they give you 2 x 30 minutes periods. Sounds short when usually you have a lay over of 3 hours, but it is better than nothing at all. (The way to cheat the system is to connect first your laptop, and then after the two periods you can connect your tablet) :) For a Star Alliance standard lounge outside USA, it is below average. read more

Decent lounge, lots of seats. Had breakfast here with tasty soup which had no label but we drank anyways. There's tea and coffee and some cold drinks. Yogurt, fruits, croissants and pancakes were available. They also have bottles of liquid sitting out for people if they want to party early haha. Cleaning people come around for plates and dishes all the time which is nice. Bathroom did have a weird smell but decent lounge with WiFi. read more

The coffee machine was spitting out watered-down coffee juice because there were no more beans left, but the staff didn't care. the cups and spoons had been hand washed, as they were still dirty. The food for lunch was total junk: one tiny shelf with dry pound cake slices. Then one bowl of potato salad and one bowl of carrot salad. You know, I could be that New Yorker tourist who gets up in arms about every little thing, but being objective is very important to me. I rolled into this lounge at 6am and it's got rolls, cold cuts, cheese, yogurt. A select amount of liquor--I'll get to this later, beer, a TON of wine, juices, a coffee machine, clean bathrooms where I was able to shave. One thing that peeved me right off the bat was an unattended bussing cart that was sitting right by the food. It's a little unappetizing to look at used plates and glasses that are seemingly not the problem of passing lounge attendants. This is why I wasn't shocked even though I had every right to be when I saw a MOUSE scurrying on the floor. My SO and I handled this like adults and reported it to the attendant instead of internalizing it and crying about it on Yelp. The attendant was very embarrassed, took the situation seriously, explained the airport had an ongoing mouse problem and called someone to handle the situation. Not a big deal but if you scream when you see a mouse, you may want to call this lounge ahead to see if they've mitigated the issue. My advice to MGMT: if you make sure plates and glasses are promptly bussed and areas tidied, there's a good chance it will help the mice problem. My only other peeve was that I was embarrassed because I had to repeat myself literally six times (4 through 6 were audible to everyone in the quiet lounge) that I wanted Vodka at 6 in the morning. This lounge has tomato juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, lemon, pepper--all the makings of a halfway decent make-shift bloody. I look over at the bar, there's three bottles of clear red capped liquor. "One of those has just got to be vodka", I assume. I put the bloody together, go for the vodka--there's no vodka, just three bottles of gin from different brands. I was sure I saw vodka. Really in the mood, I ask the attendant if they have any. She initially thinks I want water. Had I shown her a picture of what I wanted this would make more sense. Towards the end, I had to really annunciate myself and aggressively pantomime--after six attempts, I can't believe I didn't drop it, she tells me whatever is out is all they have. Thanks... Two things. Please hire people that are capable of communicating with people. If I want vodka at 6am I really don't want to have to shout it. Since I had just flown over from nyc I was still on EST, 12am my time--acceptable , but really, flying is scary for people, a little Booz at an airport should be acceptable at any time of day. 2, come on, always stock vodka--I saw Smirnoff in other user photos. THREE bottles of gin and no vodka? That's really everything you have? Does this lounge run to the store every time its out of booz? Alright, enough ! I got really New Yorker back there, let me just say that this lounge got the job done and for that reason I give three stars. Sure, I want to give it 2 1/2 but a. I can't and b. looking back, If I could do it again, I still would've gone to this lounge and would probably go again. On a long day of travel, I was able to eat to my fill of all the different food groups. I was able to shave, it was quiet, a refuge from the hectic airports of 2017, and hey, maybe I didn't need that bloody and not drinking it saved me from a headache--there's just no way of knowing. Truthfully, I had a great time, believe it or not and created memories and laughs at this lounge, and proceeded to enjoy a very smooth travel day. So I give it three stars because structurally it's just not that great of a space, no hot food I can validate, the wifi stunk, some idiot put his used cereal bowl back in the clean pile (non-sequitur, just remembered), but these things can be overlooked. It's no delta sky club , but it does what it's supposed to do and therefore gets a pass if we're talking pass/fail. There's certainly a lot here to be enjoyed. The staff here needs cultural sensitivity training- at least the blonde hair woman who works around the food. My family and I were awaiting our connecting flight and as priority pass members, we were advised that we would only be allowed 3 hours to stay which is fine. When it was time to leave, this particular lady came over and started yelling at us as if we were thieves. My sister is disabled and does not move fast and the lady came behind her telling her to "go!" This was disgusting. I understand that different countries have different standards but I do not and will never understand hatred racism or ignorance of this degree.
