It was one of the best decisions I have ever made! Honestly! The long back story is that I tried to have some teeth extracted at a very popular, very highly rated office in Chicago and had a really bad experience with the staff and then an awful reaction to the anesthesia at the actual appointment that left me really scared and nervous to ever go back and try it again. Being so far away, I obviously scheduled everything over the phone and had many questions about insurance and time frames, healing, you name it! I called this office a lot and ever single interaction was a positive and friendly one! Shout out to Marnie and Jamie for making me feel so comfortable and answering all my questions! My initial consultation went awesome and I was put right at ease, even with the 14, yes 14! extractions I had to have done! I expressed my nervousness to Dr. Fullmer (who could not be more of a professional and easy-going guy!) and he prescribed me a Valium to take two hours before surgery and it made all the difference! I was more relaxed going in and I was so grateful for that extra step of care to make this a good experience for me. Surgery went awesome and I'm happy to report that with even 14 extractions, I didn't get one dry socket or any infection, which the other office was actually preparing me for, saying that it was inevitable with that many teeth! I can not rave enough about this doctor and how amazingly well my surgery and recovery went. If you are in need of any kind of surgical work done; please do not hesitant to contact this office! I will forever be grateful to this whole team for making something I really dreaded into a truly positive experience! I would totally do it all over again without any worries!

Honestly and surprisingly, it was a non-event. So, when it came time for my husband's need of emergency, oral surgery due to an old root canal-turned abscess/bone infection, Doctor Peers was able to see him immediately, regardless of the Thanksgiving Holiday. My husband's experience with Dr. Peers and his professional, friendly, accommodating staff, was just as amazing as our daughter's. Everything went flawlessly. My husband, also without need for prescription pain medications, ate dinner with us that same evening and was ready for the slopes by Opening Day. Thank you Dr. Peers, and to all your staff aiding you in what you do best. With most sincere gratitude, Sherry Elshaug and Family. Ps. We will annually hang a tooth ornament on the tree to remind us of how well everything turned out this 2019, BIG SMILE & many thanks.

I'm sorry for the long review, but my story took place over several months so there is a lot that…read morehappened- I was referred to OMS by my general dentist for an infected root that needed to be extracted and replaced with an implant. I had a consultation with Dr Hall and decided to proceed. He said I would have to pay $4500.00 prior to my first (of 3) surgeries. The total amount I was "quoted" was several thousands of dollars more, but he said they would cap it at $4500.00 (and write off the rest?). I paid the required payment before my first surgery (Extraction/bone graft). After extraction, I had more pain in my mouth so a second cone beam was taken and Dr Hall found that a part of my root was missed and I would need an additional surgery to have it removed. I understand that I have complicated roots and that mistakes can happen, so we proceeded with the second surgery. (My husband had to take an extra day off of work to drive me home from the surgery costing us even more money) The surgery was successful, and my bone graft took beautifully. After I was all healed up, I went in to schedule my surgery to place the implant, but I addressed some concerns with the typical titanium implant, because between the 1st surgery in August and the 3rd surgery in March, I was diagnosed with a syndrome that can be activated by metal in my mouth (MCAS-which causes my airway to close and full body hives) and we (Dr Hall and I) decided that we should avoid titanium (or any metal) in my mouth. He said that Zirconia implants would be a better option for me and that he would call his two preferred implant companies (Nobel and Straumann) to make sure he could get a metal free implant. A few days later, he called me and said that he couldn't get me the needed implant, because of the war in Ukraine, where the zirconium (the product that makes zirconia) is mined. He then told me that he ordered a titanium allergy test kit that I could take to an allergist to test if I'm really allergic to titanium. I explained that my issue with titanium isn't an allergy, but a Cell reaction and that I wasn't willing to pay an allergist several hundred dollars to tell me I'm not allergic, when I already know it wont work for me. A few days later I spoke to my friend (that referred me to OMS) who works at a dental office and she said there were probably other options we could explore that were metal free that could work for me. She called her reps, to do some research for me and found some options. I called Dr Hall and he was instantly offended that I would ask someone else's advice on what to do (even though he refused to help me further). I asked him to call my friend and maybe the two of them could figure out how to help me get what I need. He was rude to my friend, and basically said to me if she can get what you need, just go back to her. I told him that I chose to go to his office because I needed a specialist, and would love to figure this out together, but if he wasn't willing to help me anymore, I guess I didn't really have a choice. I asked if I could get some of my money back to help me pay for the implant I needed, and he said he would have his financial lady call me. She called me a few minutes later and said I could only get a refund of $1500.00 of the $4500.00 back. She said $3000.00 is what I would have paid for a tooth extraction and bone graft, and there was nothing else they can do for me. It took 3 weeks to get my "partial refund." I called around to several oral surgery offices in northern Utah asking what an extraction with a bone graft would cost and the highest I found was $1600.00. I feel like Dr Hall took advantage of me because he wasn't willing to think outside of the box, and that I'm owed an additional $1500 dollars. The craziest part of this story, is that the brand of implant that his office carries (Nobel) really does have a metal free implant available, he just wasn't willing to do a little more research to make it happen for me. On a positive note, my bone graft did take, so I'll be able to get my implant elsewhere, and Dr Hall's assistant Sydney is top notch.

I saw my new dentist.... ( my old dentist retired) he explained a few things to me about using 3 d printers and taking pictures instead of using a mold which makes impressions. my dentist told me to chuck it. as a result of the hopkins nightguard, i had to see an oral surgeon. two of my teeth front bottom were severely damaged and had to be pulled. I have to have implants and bone graft. My teeth were fine until i placed his  nightguard in my mouth. from the first time i used his nightguard, my bottom two teeth hurt. He told me they would be fine. the nightguard he made was too tight and never fit right. I went through countless adjustments. I wish i had never gone to him. I had many nightguards made for my mouth, and never once did i have these kinds of problems. It was pointed out to me, why would an oral surgeon be making nightguards. From my first encounter with Hopkin, he examined my old nightguard and said it was worn out and i needed a new one. Well, he was wrong. It wasnt worn out. And since chucking the awful one he made me, i am back using the one he said was worn out. My new dentist even said it was still good.  His office insurance person called medicare to check out my insurance. she came back and said that medicare would cover my nightguard. She said i had real good insurance.  All I can say now, is read the reviews. When someone writes a negative review ask yourself why they would spend the time if what they were saying hadnt happened.
