Negative Review....this took me over a few decades but here it is...My personal experience. I hired…read moreLocation Connection back in 2000 because I thought it was a good idea. Boy was I wrong! I believe Darian tried very hard to nickel and dime me on everything. Before the wedding she wanted money from all the vendors (a steep finders fee). Vendors that I personally hired not her. So no, she got zero from the vendors. She suggested that we put plastic down on the floors to avoid accidents....WTH? I told her that my guests were not animals and we bought a million dollar insurance policy for the day. An idiotic suggestion that was immediately dismissed. No accidents happened and no ugly plastic was used. My wedding was not a million dollar event and I believe her efforts almost made it cheap but I did not let that happen. She called a few weeks before the wedding which was planned for months and arrived late to work on my wedding day. A disturbing incident happened when she gave me a lame excuse. She asked me for an additional $300 on my wedding day despite the fact that we put down a thousand dollar deposit for incidentals weeks before the wedding. We never got back the deposit. She was irritated when the owner opened up the entire location to us with zero additional costs. I believe she wanted to charge us more $$$ for the additional rooms and the use of the grand piano and kitchen. I should have asked her to mail me the invoice but I paid it so that she would go away with her phony smile. She became hostile when my husband asked about the deposit and the reason for the additional $300. She also had the moxie to ask the video guy for a copy of my wedding without asking me for permission. The video was a beautiful gift from my parents and I said absolutely no to that crap. My wedding video was not for her to display to future clients...HELL NO! I also lost an earring at the location and she would not give me the owner's number to call which left me distressed. Lucky for me I had the number and called myself. Yes, I got back my lost earring back on my own. All Location Connection did was find me a place to get married and that help was from an assistant named Anastasia who quit Location Connection. I did not need a wedding coordinator since we hired all the vendors on our own. Darian was rude before and after the wedding. She was more of a hindrance than a help. I'm surprised Location Connection is still in business. I would not recommend this company for any event! IMHO
