They also have ready to eat and frozen samosas, breads, and spring rolls, if you want a quick Indian food fix. I usually frequent Indian grocers for raw ingredients because they're usually more affordable than some large supermarkets, AND you can buy some of these in bulk. Since I'm vegan, some of us need a constant supply of chickpea flour (called besan, which can be purchased here really cheap in a hefty-sized bag), affordable TVP (textured vegetable protein), dals, spices, and the fairy dust of vegan cuisine, kala namak, or black Indian salt that has a distinct, egg-y flavor.

After going around and checking the bookstores, my mom texts me to tell me to meet her at Marketplace. She was still there going around and inspecting every little thing they had in that supermarket. They have the usual things you find in a Rustan's supermarket. They had their cheese, cold cuts, sushi bar, sandwiches, salads and pastas. But what made it different was that it's been years and they finally decided to put a good supermarket in BGC. It's about time! And I can finally say that High Street finally has everything. It's a small supermarket but it's packed with great goods and they have a special aisle for Korean food. Really interesting and I left the grocery with a lot of Korean noodles.

On top of that, his oldest daughter is now a graduating cadet at PMA and his other daughter is also in college studying in PUP. Wow. Just wow. Talk about motivation.
