It seems like the battle for the best ramen in Manila is never-ending! But then again, you can never have too many Japanese ramen options.
I've already had my heart set on my favorite ramen restaurant but my lunch companion wanted to try something new. While hesitant, I figured why not. There's really no harm in trying. It might be good for me. So I ordered their best seller and figured that this does not look bad at all!
The first I usually do in any of my ramen dishes is to take a sip of the soup. First sip was good enough, second sip was even better. Hey, this is definitely growing on me. I was also happy to find out that there are bigger and more pieces of meat at Ikkoryu compared to my favorite ramen joint that charges an extra P100 for an additional thin piece of meat. So plus points to Ikkoryu for that!
While I still do prefer my favorite ramen joint (which is yet to be revealed), Ikkoryu Fukouka Ramen offers yummy noodle soup that can satisfy a hungry girl's craving for good ramen. read more
