This is probably the only Korean restaurant I know with no Koreans dining in (well, none during my visit), as most customers are Chinese-Filipino. One reason probably is that the owners are Chinese-Filipino. A sister married a Korean and named their daughter Leann, hence the name of the resto. Leann's tea house is a hole-in-a-wall resto along Mother Ignacia St that serves healthy Korean food. Their staffs are very polite and cheerful. They also have a very appetizing menu and even more delicious dishes. We came in hungry so we ordered more than we should. We tried their new dish, Cheese Buldak. It is a spicy chicken dish topped with meon (rice cake) and mozzarella dish. The spiciness of the dish was countered by the cheese. A great dish that doesn't lack in flavor. Would highly recommend this dish for someone who would try something unique. They also offer a challenge on this dish, if you can finish the dish in 5 minutes or less, it's free. Seems easy, but the main challenge will be eating the toasted rice cakes. Aside from the new dish, we tried something from their menu, Kimchi Jigae and Seafood Pancake. The kimchi jigae (soup) came with rice and it was a complete meal. My wife loved this dish because of the equal amount of spiciness and sourness. She said it was her first time to give up on kimchi because there was a lot. The pork was a bit tough though, but not really a problem. When the seafood pancake came out, I was surprised by its huge size. Then I wondered why it was thick because it would be filling and different from what I know. After my first bite, it was heaven. The coating was very crispy and fun to eat. You can also see shrimps and squid. I like this dish because it has a substantial amount of vegetables that gives it a good crunch, and healthier too. It is well-seasoned and not oily. A highly addictive dish! While we are waiting for the food to be served, we were given four appetizers in generous amounts: kimchi, potato salad, vegetable salad with gochujiang sauce, and bean sprouts. Everything was great. I like the potato salad best because it was not overly creamy that you can taste the potato in every bite. The appetizers are free and unlimited (you can re-order). We were also served with a barley tea (hot or cold). Something they have that attracted me to come back for events is they have unlimited samgyeupsal for only Php349 and unlimited samgyeupsal (pork) and woosamgyup (beef) for only Php449. This is my first time to dine here and it will definitely not be my last time. The menu looked so appetizing that I want to try all of them. Besides, they use natural and healthy flavors. Definitely a must try!

    No flavor, bad service

Worst Korean food I ever had. There is no redeeming quality for their food nor service. The food has no flavor and their servers are rude. I am not sure how this place received more than 1 star rating.

Once the waitstaff understood that we were there to eat our hearts out, they kept the bottomless accouterments coming! At one point, we had 4 different waitstaff stopping by our table every five minutes to bring us more of something delicious. Everything was fresh and good quality. Know before you go: 1. Make sure you know what's included in your order and what's extra. The waitstaff is more than happy to help make sense of it all. 2. Come wearing stretchy pants! You will undoubtedly eat more than you intended! 3. Bring your own hand wipes. The paper towels provided just don't cut it! I mean, it's BBQ! Plan on getting messy. Between the healthy portions, attentive waitstaff, and the casual atmosphere that teeters on gritty, we had an amazing culinary experience! I would definitely come back to this restaurant.

This is the reason why meat tastes better and tastier. We are glad to have a host family while I'm visiting the Philippines who knows good food, like honest to goodness must places to eat. One day, we were brought to this place right in the heart of Manila. The place might be small but the dining experience was gigantic. We enjoyed an AYCE for Php 580 with unlimited choices of pork and beef. The choices were so many that we just opted to get all beef. So many also were the banchans. When the server brought them out and laid in our table, there was no space left uncovered with these tiny plates and bowls of side dishes. Aside from that, we also requested for the steamed egg and tofu soup. Best part of the meal? You don't do the grilling because the server cooks all the meat for you. Ha! That's nothing unheard of here in the US. Overall, excellent service not just by the server but the entire staff. Definitely worth more than the money you pay for. I will definitely come back on my next trip to the Philippines.

Prime cuts are available from Saga Striploin (P3600), Kagoshima Rib Eye (P3300), Wagyu (P6280), and Super Prime (P1820). Service is okay and the place is clean.
