My father, who is undergoing treatment for endocarditis, relies on regular scheduled antibiotics, yet the nurses consistently fail to arrive as scheduled. On the first day, no one showed up to administer his treatment, and when I inquired, I was told the nurse had a car accident--an excuse that I find unacceptable given the critical nature of his condition. The second nurse was scheduled to arrive at 9 pm but only showed up at 11:45 pm due to rain, which is completely unprofessional and dangerous considering the urgency of his medication needs. This level of inconsistency and irresponsibility is alarming and unacceptable. I expect more accountability and reliability from a healthcare provider, especially for patients in vulnerable situations.
