After calling several companies about an A/C leak that kept coming back after a previous cleaning from a diffrent company, I finally reached out to Khoolex Air Conditioning. Gustavo explained the likely cause, found mold on the motor, and recommended a thorough cleaning. He removed the evaporator coil and blower assembly, cleaned and disinfected them outside, then reinstalled the unit back in place. Since then, the leak has stopped. After reading many of the fantastic reviews of Khoolex, I decided to give them a call. They were able to get someone (Gustavo) out the next day. I've been having issue with cooling in my house and Gustavo was able to find some issues with my system. He was very patient and explained everything in detail to me. He had to re-up my freon and was up front with all pricing. I have now saved this company to my bookmarks for any future issues that I may run into. Add me traveling on Friday and I've been going crazy. Anyway, I gathered several quotes to get my AC unit looked at and chose this company because of its stellar reviews, which I am now adding onto. I spoke to Gustavo yesterday and we set up a meeting for 9 AM this morning. Not only was he punctual, but he showed up early. I showed him my AC unit and I told him what my issue was. Point blank my condo felt like a sauna and I wasn't getting any cool air. My AC was only blowing hot air. After calling around, most of the companies did not service my area. I left a message for Khoolex Air and soon after received a call from Gustavo. He was friendly, professional, and arrived on time. Gustavo not only diagnosed the problem but he explained everything. He showed me photos of the damaged parts so I could see exactly what the issues were. I needed a new capacitor and a hard start kit. He even took pictures when he was done! I had an issue with my AC system in my townhouse cutting off when the sensor detected water buildup in the drainage pipes. Gustavo came out in June 2024 and fixed it, but it started again a couple of months later, so he returned in October and detected the pan was tilted to the left, which apparently was not allowing adequate drainage. He realigned the pan, installed the new filter I had bought which I could not previously install because of the alignment issue of the pan, and he did not charge me this visit. AC is running excellent right now. read more

Honest AC company. Adriana who answers the phone and messages is very friendly to work with. Gustavo owns the company and does the work himself (along with another team member I believe). Gustavo is very knowledgeable and honest. It's around $200 per unit for a maintenance plan for the year which includes two visits. We initially had an issue with a clogged drain and he came out to fix it and since we signed up for the maintenance plan the cost of the fix was included. They are also very responsive. read more

Gustavo responded quickly to my request for a quote and was ready to come take a look the same day. He explained everything he was doing and how much everything could cost. First of all, all other A/C companies I had contacted told me that they would charge AT LEAST $50+ (one quoted me at $100) JUST to come out to my residence to 'see' what the problem is.....Gustavo did none of that and was extremely professional & courteous from start to finish. Gustavo also had me come with him out to see the A/C unit together, removed the access panel, and SHOWED me exactly what part of the A/C unit did what, why it was malfunctioning, and how to fix it & what my options are. He even plugged in his portable monitor to show me what a 'healthy' reading should be, and more importantly, WHY! He then explained to me what my different options are, the costs for each option, and the pros/cons of each one.
