Our family is not happy about the constant, new owners (3 in 3 + years) and the staff comes and goes like a revolving door! Staff is great but Management at Monarch is not. And they do not take care of their staff or treat them with respect which is Unfortunate! If any more of the staff, especially those above mentioned, leave, we will pull our family member out and stop referring others to Brandywine.

It's a lovely place that doesn't feel like an assisted living facility (it feels more like an upscale hotel or a country club but does feel homey) and is well-maintained and clean. The staff is super helpful and has given us great comfort knowing she is well taken care of.

I don't live in NJ, but my brother and his wife do. They met with Dolores, the owner, at my mother's home and assessed her needs. Within a week, my mother was paired with a woman named Joan. My mother liked her a lot; they have gotten along very well. First Joan came only once per week for a few hours to help my mother with errands or take her to appointments. Eventually she came twice a week. My mother is moving out of state to NY (to be closer to my brother, who is also moving). Joan has been helping my mother to go through her closets and drawers to consolidate her stuff before the move. Overall, it has been a very positive experience for our family. I'm in California so it's not like I can drop everything and come to NJ to help my mother on a constant basis. My brother and his wife are busy with their own stuff. It was wonderful to know that my mother could rely on Joan to help out. I would definitely recommend Seniors Helping Seniors. Thank you, Dolores and Joan!!!!

Doris and Eileen helped in the guidance at the beginning of his care and maintained prompt and thorough feedback. Nina, my father's main care giver during his transition, had him prepared for each day's activities. She was a companion who my father relied upon and felt very comfortable with. Her experience was easily visible in her professional demeanor and interactions. Christie and Jamie were also a big help while Doris was away from the office. Though your services were only temporary, the outcome was very helpful. Thank you SHS for your assistance, care and performance as my father entered a new chapter in his life.

The care provided to our family member at Care-one at Livingston was reprehensible and wholly…read moreunacceptable. What was promised as professional, patient first care, rehabilitation instead revealed a pattern of neglect, poor communication, and mismanagement. My family member suffered several UTI's, unexplained rashes and infections, cocktails of prescriptions, extremely poor hygiene care. We moved my family member to a facility where they have successfully rebounded and remarkably increased their ADL's in less than 12 months after relocated from Care-one Livingston. As for staff professionalism, right now I am waiting two months for a simple statement of account. Something that should be computerized and easy to retrieve. Shame on your Care-One at Livingston.
