I have several accounts and my mortgage loan through Horicon bank, recently I was moving my money…read morearound as I usually do but due to a death in the family I didn't realize in moving the money around my account would be over drawn. I was shocked to find out that they do not send auto emails to alert customers of an overdraft, instead a letter is sent via snail mail! I would have sorted this out same day and avoided the trouble that followed. Because I moved money to savings a check for didn't clear, this was returned and I was charged 2 over drafts fees. I called and asked if I needed to send another check and explained the issue, that rep advised yes you will need to pay that bill again and rudely advised "we have to many customers to email you, that is why we have online banking". I asked for the fee's to be removed, she had to check with the supervisor and get back to me. She followed up 3 days later to inform me they would only remove one fee. I accepted that and thought I would move on. However that is not where this issue stopped, after I spoke with the Horicon bank worker I called the loan company regarding the returned payment. I was told by both ends the bill would need to be paid again so I sent another check, only to find out that the first check was re-submitted by the loan company and paid by Horicon bank as well as my new check. At no time was I informed this could happen by either party. Since I do not work in banking there would be no way for me to know. I called again and spoke with Adrian but was basically told there is nothing more Horicon bank would do for me, all I asked for was the additional service fee to be refunded as I now paid this bill twice and was out an additional $30. In the end I am disappointed but know it was intimately my error, I just cannot believe that in this technology driven world a bank couldn't automatically trigger an email alert instead of a letter or since I have been long time customer with multiple accounts and cash in all of them they couldn't cover this and contacted me. I will be re-thinking where my family and companies does business.

Tuesdays visit there was no line…read moreat lunch time. 2 tellers taking care of drive through and counter. staff was pleasant and was able to help me check balance from my old bank Wachovia. Since Wells Fargo acquired Wachovia after a government-forced sale to avoid a failure of Wachovia. My accounts were merged just last month. so I have plenty of new places to get service from the banks. I'm getting used to changing since Bank Florida was sold to First union and first union was sold to Wachovia. I still need to go back and find out what all the new services and of course fees will be. I hope this is a change for the better.

One, it is sometimes difficult to navigate; when you are coming up northbound on Mayfair Road, you have to make a left turn at Center Street and then make another left turn into the lot. Problem is, during drive times, its hard to make that left turn into the lot, due to inconsiderate folks behind the wheel, waiting in line eastbound on Center street to get through the intersection at Mayfair Road; otherwise, I guess you can take a chance and make a U-turn and then enter from Mayfair Road. Another gripe I have at this location is that there is only one ATM and it is a driveup kiosk, outside. It is not under an overhang or canopy, so you are exposed to the weather. Nope, there is not one ATM inside this bank.

Mwahahaha…read more This is a pretty popular bank in the Milwaukee area and this is a fancy new location of it at the mall at Glendale. It's a little hard to figure out where it is cuz it's part of a big complex of different buildings and shops including Trader Joes. Having said that's not bad and not nearly as much of a rip-off as some of the major National Banks are. But I would still prefer a little Local Credit Union to this place.

I had nothing but problems with them. very very…read morehigh interest!! miss a payment because of covid-19 and they call you multiple times a day. even after you have talked to someone that day. they run a hard inquiry on your credit report every month so your credit report goes down. and that's beside the late payment they put on there. (which I expected) never, never will I do business with them again!!
