Date of visit: March 31, 2026 I stopped in to get a cashier's check as I wasn't able to move funds electronically in a way that would work for me and I was pleasantly surprised by the efficiency and ease of my visit. Daniel helped me right away and when I inquired about a wire versus a cashier's check, whichever was cheaper, he recommended the cashier's check given the wire cost. That worked just fine for me and within a minute I had everything I needed to go on about my day. The entire transaction was seamless and he even gave me an envelope to put the check in. I moved back to Wisconsin this spring and had an existing account, and also opened a new checking account. I added my wife, who was also a previously on my account and has held a mortgage and a car loan with the credit union. I asked to set up the fast cash feature of the bank app (so I could deposit checks with my phone). I've used similar services at other banks, and I've never had issues. I was told it would take several business days to get it activated. Weeks later it was still not working, so I called again. This time I was told the feature world not be activated for a year. I protested as said that someone else had a agreed to activate it. They apparently dug up the phone call and listened to the conversation, and agreed to activate the feature, but said typically that they wouldn't do it for one year. Today I deposited a $250 check, and then tried to deposit a $1500 check. I was told I exceeded the limit for deposits. I would deposit the check in person, but only the drive through is open, and it's habitually under staffed, with a line of cars around the block waiting for service. I'm just stunned at the poor customer service here. Snarky children for tellers. No attention to detail. Not even a "sorry" or "what can we do to make it better." So I'm taking my money elsewhere. Avoid this day care center. read more

I love this bank. I have been with them since I was in undergrad and I am pleased with their services. It is are a very forgiving bank even when I was a careless college student. The interest rates for the savings account is higher than most. The credit card rate fees are low. They don't charge any fees if you use your debit or credit card overseas. You can withdraw money from free ATMs through Alliance, Allpoint, and other credit union ATMs. They have an online list of free nationwide ATMs. I noticed they are mostly in pharmacies. Their home, car, personal, and education loan offer fantastic rates. The over draft fee is a standard $30 and there is no daily interest if not paid at once. This bank has an online app that offers Flash Cash where you can take a pic of your check and it will be deposited right away. I honestly can't speak for other banks, but for a local bank it has exceeded my expectations. This bank has saved me more than once. Every time I contact this business they are courteous, competent, and customer service oriented. The staff listens rather than talk making them better equipped to service my needs. The problem is that I then expect my interactions with other businesses to be on par and it is rare. read more
