Waited 2hr and still a no show. Had to find a family member to come pick me up. Once I arranged for relative to pick me up they then called to see if i still wanted them to come, I'm 74 and I was standing out in the heat on a parking lot the whole time. Cab showed up with a woman driver that looked like she just got of bed. The car looked worse than her. Seats were split and smelled so bad I had to take a shower and wash my clothes just to get rid of the odor. Refused to take a credit card, cash only. I called to book one of the wheelchair accessible vehicles, and the person that answered the phone said that they don't have wheelchair accessible vehicle. I know for a fact that Associate Cab has 2 of them...it's almost impossible to reach a real person to talk to as that is not an option on any of the never ending voice menus. read more

I reserved a cab 24 hours in advance and was a no show in Fort Meade. It's the only cab company allowed on base so they have a monopoly on the business and maybe they don't care. I missed my flight due to them. Do not recommend/do not use. read more

Despite the poor reviewa, I gave this company a chance. That was a BIG MISTAKE! I scheduled* a cab ride to the airport 24 hours in advance, and received a call 5 minutes AFTER my scheduled pickup time to tell me that there are no available drivers. This is completely unacceptable and a terrible business practice. I should have heeded the reviews, and I implore anyone who reads this review, do NOT use Associated Cabs. Lyft ended up being cheaper (even with a 25% tip) than what I was quoted by the Associated Cab representative. Unbelievable!!! *When you call you will be forced to go through an automated booking service, but after more than two attempts at the automated service trying to understand the address, you will get to talk to an actual representative. I asked this representative if there would be any issues with me getting a very early pickup to the airport from Fort Meade, and they assured me I would have no issues. I understand things go wrong, but there is no excuse of contacting me AFTER my scheduled pickup time to tell me that they cannot pick me up. I was lucky that there were Lyft drivers available so early in the morning. read more

Very antiquated cab service. Dispatcher sounded like he has been smoking Camels his whole life, barely discernible. Cab arrived promptly, but the driver didn't even know how to control the heat... must have been the first time driving this car. Here's the kicker... when I go to pay, he pulls out a 1980 CC slide machine. Are you kidding me??? It took an extra 15 mins and is now the most insecure credit card transaction on the planet. Very late,...Had to find another ride. I scheduled on Monday for a ride on Saturday to the airport. I called the evening before and talked to a dispatcher to make sure we would get picked up a at 4 am. Next morning it was for 4 am waiting, I got an automated message at 4:05 they were looking for a driver, received a second automated messaged, still looking for driver. Had to run and load my car to run to the airport and park. Then got an automated message that the driver is 15 minutes away. When we were on our way to the airport, the driver called us like at 4:16 that he was on his way and would be approx 18 minutes. We cancelled. If we had waited, we would have been an hour late to the airport. Had to spend close to $180 to park because they did not show. Will not use them again. read more

Associated Cabs Ltd, hire unscrupulous drivers. On 12/6 Cab #59 picked me up in Baltimore city. According to Google Maps, the ride (via Broadway) is 3.3 Miles. Please take a moment to guess as to how much do you think the fare would be (@ 2.50 a mile)..... The fare was $18! $13 on the meter and a $5 surcharge. When the cab driver was confronted about this his response was..."well didn't you notice there was no partition? Its a county cab and we charge a surcharge for city pick ups" I was so disgusted that I gave this man a $20 and stepped out of his vehicle. I know how it is to depend on a cab but if you can avoid associated cab. And if you are in an associated cab watch the meter and mileage of cab #59. read more

I have used this service on 06-28-2020 so I could get my car back from the night before due to drinking a bit more then I had felt safe driving - they showed up in a timely fashion for both Pick-Up and Return me the next day. Despite dirty vehicles and less than courteous dispatchers, I used to use this company because they were prompt and reliable. They aren't even that anymore. The past two times I called hours ahead for very early pick-ups. On both occasions the cab was a no show. When I called dispatch they said they would try to find a cab to get me. By then, they were already 10 minutes late and were going to take another 15 minutes. The dispatchers could have cared less. I took an Uber instead. Never again will I use this company nor will I feel sorry for them that Uber is taking their jobs read more

Had no car because it was getting repair and I gave this cab company a try worst mistake ever I called and requested for a cab at 1030pm at my job which is a hotel they said cab will be there in 15mins 1045 no cab 1100 no cab 1115 still nothing so I call back and he says he's 3mins away im like ok fine I go outside in the cold 39mins past still no cab I call back again and he says with a additude you wasn't outside the driver talked to the front desk and they don't know nothing about it I explained I work there and I say f**k it and hung up and found the uber app entered my cc number and got a ride in less then 5mins and I got to track where the driver is at and its way cheaper I think uber going to blow all these nasty cab businesses off the map read more

Terrible service. They were very reliable years ago. Now, they just don't show up even though pick up is scheduled hours prior. Called repeatedly and dispatcher is rude and not helpful. Escalated to the manager and he was rude as well. Used Uber and got to the airport last two times. Barely made it in time for boarding due to the Associated Cab's delay. I had booked a ride to the airport a week in advance for the 19th of November, because I was flying home for the week of Thanksgiving. The cab never showed up, nor did they even call me. I had to call them three times, and they kept telling me that the cab was on its way, the second time, 6 minutes away, the third time, five minutes away. I waited, I waited, and I waited, until I could no longer wait (4:10 am by then) for fear of missing my flight. I barely made my flight with only 9 minutes to spare, although Associated Cab was suppose to pick me up a whole two hours in advance of my flight departure time. I never got a call, not even an apology. I will never again attempt to do busy with this cab company. Holiday travel is stressful enough, having your cab not show, there is no excuse. My flight left at 5:02 am. So, they cannot blame it on traffic. read more

My uber app stopped working due to my debit card issue so I started to catch cabs to work. My trip from my house to work is usually always $7. So I caught one today. Called them at 4:15, had to be at work at 5p driver didn't arrive until 5:10p. I get to work & looked at the meter it said 7.25. I tell the driver that I'm going inside my job to get cash back . When I return with $10 he gives me my change ($1) I looked at the meter and it said $9.00!! Apparently he charged me while I went inside! No other driver did that so I just decided to never catch this cab service again. I thought that was very unfair considering I wasn't physically in the vehicle. read more

She called 3 times asking for an ETA and they were not able to even give her an estimate, not to mention the rudeness. I reserved a wheelchair van ahead of time for my son to transport us to BWI airport. The dispatcher didn't confirm our location or contact information so my husband called back to make sure they had the correct info and she was rude. Then on the day we were to leave, someone called me to tell me they didn't have a wheelchair van available to pick us up. Pickup time was 715 am and they didn't call us until 700 am. They didn't offer any other accommodation or meaningful apology. I don't understand how you could make a reservation days in advance and then on the day of the vehicle is not available. Thankfully, we were travelling with my son and had the option of driving our own car and inconveniently parking in long-term parking. I would not recommend this cab company to anyone...especially anyone requiring accommodations for a disability. read more

I am giving this cab service two stars because they came in a timely manner and got us to our destination on time. However, this was the FILTHIEST vehicle that REEKED so badly of cigarette smoke that when I got out, I smelled like a smoker. If it were not for the fact that I didn't have time to request another cab, I wouldn't have gotten in. I would advise asthmatics to request a smoke free cab if they ever have to use this company. I know that drivers use their own vehicles but they are a representative of the company. It seems like the company would require cab drivers to meet some basic standards. Forgot to mention the price was ridiculous as well. I think we travelled 10 miles and the fare was over $30. My suggestion, catch a bus, couldn't be as bad as this cab. read more

About 15 minutes later when I was still waiting for a cab I saw on the tracking that they had cancelled my cab. I definitely will never use them again. read more

How can this company stay in business with the customer service they have? These people talk you like the angry and disrespectful people that they are. I have never heard a dispatcher talking to you like they did. Not one but two of them! The call was made but they never showed up! I used to use these guys all the time but never again. One driver nearly hit me because he ran a stop sign, then processed to tail gate me to the point I could NOT see his headlights screaming at me for over a mile at 10 at night. When I finally stopped with 911 on the phone he pulled up next to me screaming he was going to total my car, called me many upseen names in front of my 5 year old son, threw racial slurs like it was free candy in a parade and threatened to run me off the road, all of witch was recorded by 911. Who ever you are sir in cab 41 I seriously hope you value your customers better. With out them YOU HAVE NO JOB. And I fear for who ever rides in your cab. 9/12/16 read more
