This isn't specific to this location, i assume the whole chain. Beverages are fine. Average coffee stand. Decent food selection. INSANE Prices. I don't stop by often, so they won't miss my business. I had forgotten to make my chai latte this morning so knowing they use Big Train I stopped by. A 24 Ounce Chai - no coffee or add ins was over $8 (plus tip). More than i spend for lunch on any given day. A bag of Big Train will be about $23-26. Even if i forget my breakfast beverage, i threw away my rewards card when i left and won't be stopping buy again. read more

Today I got an iced americano with white chocolate and cream and the white chocolate was sitting still in powdered form at the bottom of my cup and it tastes foul. This coffee stand is pretty close to my neighborhood, and I swung in the other day because I wasn't in the mood for Starbucks. My go-to at coffee stands is usually espresso over ice with white chocolate, OR an iced coconut latte with oatmilk. This particular day, I went with the latte. My drink was made pretty well. The espresso tasted a littleeee burnt, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say my taste was just off that day because it still tasted pretty good. The service is super friendly and it's located in a convenient spot. It sometimes gets a little busy because it's in the parking lot of a gas station that's popular with truckers. But they work quickly, so it wasn't really an issue! With this being the closest coffee stand, I'm sure I'll be back soon! read more

I waited in line for 10 mins behind a FedEx van (Not during peak hours, maybe 1:35 PM). Noticed the other side of the stand was moving cars through that arrived AFTER me so I drove around to the other side. Waited for an additional 7 minutes behind 1 car before I dipped out. So annoying to spend half my break in line and I didn't even get the chance to order anything. Probably just stick to the big corporate coffee place. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes there. What's more frustrating is I think the guy in the FedEx van was just shooting the breeze. I never did see him get a drink in the 17 mins I was there. read more

I'm writing this on behalf of my husband's experience, we are both not the type of people to write bad reviews but this was unacceptable. My husband goes to this coffee shop almost everyday before work & yesterday when he went he had asked for a coffee with extra peanut butter in it. He didn't realize until afterwards that not only did it not have that but the barista completely overcharged him, so my husband went back & let a barista from the late afternoon shift know what happened which he never does but he felt like this was just unfair. She was gracious enough him a free coffee for the next morning & when he went back the same brunette barista who had overcharged him & also made his drink wrong not only tried to correct him multiple times about the situation & tell him to just ask for "extra peanut better next time" but had a very condescending smile & attitude. No one wants to deal with this type of situation before work. read more

Asked for light ice.. they made my drink with a ton of ice blended. Went back to remind her and compensate very nicely. The girl with yellow nails took my drink to the back, dumped it in the blender and added more milk to it all with an attitude. So nasty to take a drink and put in back in your blender. That should be a health code violation. Then she put it in a smaller cup to give back to me with an attitude. I told her to keep it. So nasty and rude. Poor customer service. read more

First time I went and got a coffee it was so delicious and just right. I was to return again. So I went a second time. I ordered the same drink as I did before. Drove off and took a sip I was like what the heck is this. I kept tasting stirring it. It was so nasty it gave me diarrhea. Oh no I am not going ever again. The coffee is the best in the fife area (If you have the time run up into Milton-way better coffee shops). I stop here on my way to work. Unless you're a regular or tip well don't expect much customer service. The main barista gal is a gem! Super nice and remembers drinks quickly and makes great coffee. However the girl at the counter is a complete B. She's super rude and unless you're a dude, don't expect a smile or any kindness. That is until you hand her a tip, then she's all smiles and "Have a great day!" They do deliver local with a minimum of 4 drinks. Family friendly and i think they give candy to the kids. The times I come through (mostly mornings on my way to work) they usually have a line, but the girls move through the customers quickly and seem to know most of them as regulars. Definitely a busy place but the girls are always friendly and ACTUALLY know how to make coffee. they also have a variety of energy drink mixers and smoothies, which are great on the days coffee doesn't seem as appealing. They offer delivery to local businesses as well on week day mornings, which I'm sure comes in handy. I've been going to this stand for nearly three years. The baristas here are so sweet and friendly. It's not a trashy stand where I'm afraid to take my children, in fact they love my kids, know us all by name and always give the kids suckers. Summer and Kylie in particular are really awesome. This is the best coffee shop in the fife/Milton/downtown puyallup area. The coffee is delicious, the baristas are always super friendly and helpful if you don't know what you want. The lines are usually pretty long in the mornings, but they are super efficient and can get through the line quickly. I've never had a bad coffee from here. And no matter what barista is working, they can almost always remember what coffee I get, which is why I always come back here time and time again. They're all very well trained. read more

This is as my go-to coffee stand all throughout high school since it was close to my house. Taylor was the absolute BEST. Drink always was better coming from her. Was bummed when she transferred to another location. Ever since most of the baristas have been snobby, don't interact with you much, and seem rather annoyed to be there honestly. Still the redbull drinks were good (when they bother to make it right) so I kept going. That is until today, when I pulled up and none of the three ladies working had a mask on. I had mine on, but it made me so uncomfortable I didn't even end up drinking my drink as I'd rather be safe than sorry. Really disappointed that the establishment seems to care little about the safety precautions that are set at food establishments. And the one making my drink seemed so annoyed with me for simply ordering, and kept ignoring me when I talked. Time to find a new coffee stand unfortunately read more

I use to go to this stand because it was close to work. The baristas are nice, but they are overpriced on everything that they sell. Recently I went in there and accidentally left my debit card there and when I went back by to retrieve it, the owner (Dave) was not taking it serious at all that I had just lost my debit card and said that they could not find it; even though they all admitted to seeing it; later I found out that Dave said to get rid of it because it was a 49'ers card. What kind of business owner treats his patrons that way? I will never go back there again and you can bet that non of my co-workers will either. read more

The people working here are great, the coffee however, well that's an absolutely different story. One of the top 3 worst coffee places I have ever tried. I would probably leave half a star but 1 star is the lowest yelp allows. I ordered a latte with light sugar multiple times here and here's what it tastes like: 10 ounces of lukewarm water, 1 tablespoon of espresso coffee, 2 tablespoons of milk and 6 ounces of sugar = 16 ounce latte here. All you can taste is sugar and water (no coffee taste whatsoever). If your the owner and reading this you should seriously audit how your coffee is made, set a standard and recipe that works and actually tastes good. Also make sure all employees are trained on it and follow it. I can guarantee you business will increase and your reviews will skyrocket. read more

I have been coming to Associated Espresso for 8 years now. The baristas that work here are kind, genuine and take pride in their job! I was quite amazed on my second trip coming in the barista already knew my name and my drink order. I have been to all 4 locations and my drink is always superb no matter who is making the drink.
