I love how bright and airy it is here, too. Definitely is the best spot for a sunny spring or summer day. On Tuesdays, they do $5 Taco Tuesday which is such a steal! For $5 you get two tacos with your protein of choice (carne asada or chicken). I decided to try this since I got the quesadilla last time. Some of the cuts of meat were pretty grisly/fatty which was a bit of a turn off, but overall they were good. I also got the chips, salsa, and guac on the side. I think next time I would skip the salsa as it was super chunky and not a salsa texture at all, and had no kick to it. The guac was really good though! I wouldn't say it's the best coffee shop I've ever been to, but the atmosphere here is so bright and cheery that I'll definitely still keep coming back when I'm looking for a change of scenery that isn't my desk at home! Plus, did I mention they have mimosa flights?

It was advertised as chuck eye, but the meat I received was very lean and dry, lacking the tenderness and richness I'd expect from that cut. Based on this meal, I wouldn't order the French dip again. The fries were the highlight of the plate, but the sandwich wasn't worth the price.

Worked here for about a week put in 32.75 hours and got paid for 18- because I wasn't approved to work - How do you work unapproved in front of the owner ?? When I started I was advised that training was paid. everything was great, Stephanie the owner even felt comfortable with me to cover shifts alone. I was advised we were to treat each other like family. The owner is pregnant and a busy lady. One day she advised we need 6 whole milks but she wouldn't have time to stop , I offered to pick up inventory with my own money- as were supposed to be "family" and she could reimburse me on the next day - all was agreed. I dropped off the milk and receipt with Liz she advised Stephanie had not left money for reimbursement and I could take to Steph when she got there , which was fine I worked later that day. this past Thursday Stephanie advised she found a rat and the place needed to be cleaned. While cleaning I found the rat had gotten into the sugar, tea ,and protein powders . When I advised Stephanie of this she said just to save what ever was left in the contaminated bags and just put them in cups....ewww I advised her that is not right . Her response was she doesn't have the budget and the sugar is expensive. While cleaning I also came across 5 syrups with nats and 1 with a bee inside. She just poured out the bee and got rid of 3 of the bottles. At this point Im planning on quitting. When I inquired on my reimbursement for the milk the owner advised Liz said I had already taken the money out of her till- this is stealing and would never happen! Liz shift ( Morning has had 2 issues with discrepancy in tills in the short time she has work there. so make sure when giving credit card tips you check you acct at the end of the night around 7:00 when the last receipt is submitted. Instead of the owner checking the security cameras she ignored my calls requesting for an employee meeting. This is not a place to work or get coffee I suggest taking your business elsewhere before you too are scammed or get sick. My original post is obviously before being an employee read more

I used to work here and frankly the owner, Stephanie is a lying scam artist. For claiming to be a Christian she sure knows how to take advantage of people. Not sure where it says that in the Bible. For starters. 1. If we were out of a product and a customer asked for it she would tell us to say "you got it" and make them something similar. As if they couldn't tell the different and instead of being honest with them and saying "we actually just ran out but xyz is similar" 2. She fired me for getting Covid and needing some time off to recover. Cause I was sick... cause she fired me she feels it's okay to not give me my last paycheck. Still fighting for that almost a year later. She claims she "mailed it 3 times" but mail doesn't get lost in the mail 3 times. And anyone knows you are able to track a check to see if it's been deposited. So no, I do mot recommend this place for employment, for purchasing coffee or anything! read more
