I saw Dr. Swanson. I have very sensitive teeth and novacaine hasn't worked for me in the past. They were very accommodating to my issues without making me feel like I was being a pain. Everyone I had to deal with from the appointment desk to the insurance person were fabulous. The only thing is they have several dentists so you have to ask specifically for the one you want and also the gal who assists him. They are very helpful with that too. If you don't then you will get whoever is on the day you schedule. By far the best dentist I have ever had.

That's right, I'm one of the millions of Americans who have a completely irrational and unfounded fear of going to the dentist. Oh, I still go, but it's an ordeal. Usually I don't sleep the night before, can't eat...you get the idea. So what's the big deal about Dr. Dunn? Two words. "Gentle dentistry." At least that's what they call it. In practice this means going realllly slow for people like me who are freaking out, having TVs on the ceiling to watch (with headphones), and--best of all--LAUGHING GAS. People, do not underestimate the power of the gas in alleviating your dentist anxiety. I no longer worry now because I know that when I get there, if I want, I can visit la-la land. Oh, and if that's not enough they'll actually prescribe you tranquilizers.
