I believe the old saying--- "You get. What you put into it. And whether your contact, or visit, or therapy is beneficial really depends on you- client -- be rude, and others can deal with you that way, or make phone calls demanding-- there could be reasons of no response. Ive been with this office quite awhile-- my nurse practitioner can "suggest" everything to me AND I choose whether to accept it for me. It isnt the therapy that "fixes" the client--:it what that person accepts or not AND applies to their life. Take what you want, and leave what doesn't work. I've "fit" working with most of staff- and am proud of my therapist at this time and appreciate help of the nurse. Ask good important questions and youll receive positive, helping answers. Without going into major detail about my personal business, I just want to make a note here that after alot of confusion and phone calls back and forth about my appointment and me wanting to just go the next week. ( to no fault of my therapist or the business) I was content with missing a session and going the next week. Sue who is my therapist called me personally to make sure I was ok and check on me. I ended up going in and having my session. And for those who want to say or think, no I was not pressured or forced and NO it was not for money. I was going to cancel a few short hours before so it would still be charged even if I wasn't there. It was because of Sue and her sincere concern and here sincerely wanting me to go in and talk things through. To get out what I needed to work on myself and keep on track with what I've been working on. This is what means the world to me. To know she genuinely cares about me as a person and not just another ass in the seat. I would like to add she was and always has been very Profesional and I can also appreciate that. Dr Baker, aka Kris Kringle's step child, was completely unprofessional, rude, petulant, and self serving in my social security hearing. I am a veteran of Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and he little sympathy or interest in my experiences evident by interrupting me, putting words in my mouth which I did not express. I feel Duck Dynasty has a conflict of interest. I would avoid this counselor! read more
