I'm disappointed in the experience because I'm new to Orlando and haven't found a lot of personal service practices that can be trusted. Unfortunately, I now feel that applies to this office as well. I went for a consultation on laser hair removal (LHR) yesterday, 12/10/18. After a $75 consult fee, I met with Dr. Grayman and received a pricing proposal from a member of her team. I was also advised that I should wait to purchase a package because the practice is in a "12 Days of Christmas" promotion and LHR buy one area, get one free would be coming up soon. I thought that was nice since they could have not mentioned it...Good looking out! The next day, today (12/11/18), a text arrives announcing a LHR promotion. Yay! I call, ready to purchase a few packages, only to be told that the pricing in my proposal would not be honored through the promotion and that I would be charged full price for certain areas if I wanted to take advantage of the promotion. No where, on the printed proposal does it indicate this is "special pricing", that would indicate that the promotion wouldn't be honored. I've had LHR before, and this pricing is in line with my old place in Ohio. This bait & switch is unethical and egregious. There are hundreds of dermatologists in the area. Don't be like me. Save your consult fee & go elsewhere.

While I understand that the balance is associated with DermPath Diagnostics, I want to reiterate that I was very clear from the beginning that I needed to be informed of all costs, including any external laboratory charges, before any procedures were conducted. The assurance I received during my visit was that the $278.60 I paid would cover all expenses, including laboratory work, which was done on your premises. I was specifically told that the $278.60 included the laboratory work. If any of your employees made a wrong assumption or gave me incorrect information, I cannot be held liable for that. This misinformation was provided on at least three separate occasions--during my initial call, when I arrived, and during my consultation with the nurse. I was very clear from the start, and you can verify this with your staff. Due to the negligence or bad business practices, the American Institute of Dermatology should be responsible for paying DermPath Diagnostics. I was misled and essentially lied to, despite making my expectations clear from day one. At this point, I stand by my previous statement that I will only be responsible for the charges already paid--$278.60 and $65.85. I will not be paying the $369.52 from DermPath Diagnostics or any additional charges, and I have canceled my future appointments with your office due to these issues. I live on the East side of Lake WalesDr Rotman introduced me to his colleague Dr Chris, I believe. He is delightful. On my 2nd appointment I (very embarrassed)had to ask if I could mail in my $10 copay at the end of the month. The woman behind the desk was very nasty and made me 100 times more embarrassed than I already was. At the Sebring office they always wanted to bill me. But I usually paid on the spot. We are going through a tough time which should improve by sometime next month. It's the first time this has ever happened to us. I will go back in November when I have another appointment.
