I had always visited Dr Foote (yes, his real name) three or four times each year until he retired.... What I was accustomed to was attention to any foot issues(not so at Lawrenceville Foot Care). I explained that I had complete numbness in my big toe and the toe next to it and it was difficult to go up and downstairs and always have a good footing. Could not actually feel if my shoe is on or not. He put forth some not very reasonable comments and Adios! I did appreciate the professionalism of the person at reception and there is a very spiritual energetic decor in the waiting room ....and several huge trees that grew from little ones Unfortunately, I did not see anything spiritual about this place. My opinion, he's all about how much insurance you have. A complete waste of my time. For me, my issue was a pretty big problem But....For these people no problem! He didn't look to see what issues I might have; he merely told me, if I had pain give him a call. Whaat?! It was obvious that my insurance wasn't juicy enough for him. His demeanor is quite detached, no personality and no discussion of what I was dealing with. After Dr Foote, I guess I am quite spoiled.

I warmly recommend Dr. Lebovic and the East Brunswick office. My story began 10 years ago with thorn ligament in right ankle. Lately I started to feel pain in my heel and thought it's a spur, Dr. Lebovic found that the way I walk caused by the two ligament fixes from the past is the culprit of the pain in my heel and ankle. After two visits, I am improving much and looking forward to getting a device fitted for me. But that's not all, accidentally I hit my little toe and got it all dark and swollen. He has taken care of my Morton's Neuroma's and also has had orthotics made for me a few times and has helped me with my arthritis in my toes. Exceptional care and takes his time talking to you and listening. He does not rush you. I recently confused my appt. day and showed up a day early. The office was closed but as I was about to leave he happened to be stopping by his office and even though my appt. was for the next day, he saw me anyway (even though I am sure he probably would have liked to go home after a long day and spend time with his family. I so appreciated that. This is why I travel over an 1/2 an hour to continue to be his patent. Very caring Doctor.

The assistant to the anesthesia was very rough in the way he handled me and especially when he quickly inserted a "bite block" (?) as part of the prep of the endoscopy. Awoke from procedure (anesthesia) finding that more than 2 of my teeth were broken during the procedure and the repairs soon after cost me nearly $4000 in dental work. The anesthesiologist stated that this is a known risk to the procedure and that I signed forms acknowledging such damage as a possibility.. I had no idea that I signed such a release. I would NOT recommend SURGICAL SPECIALISTS AT PRINCETON

Place is clean. Front desk check-in is average. Waiting room has the absolute smell of OVERBOOKED…read more MSNBC on the TV in a packed (i.e., couldn't move away from the TV) waiting room was not only frustrating it was completely annoying. The most biased political network is on in a medical facility? Why? Ridiculous. In for a fasted procedure early (uggh) in the afternoon I waited 45 minutes by that news spewing TV before I was finally taken into the surgical area. There I was put in a bed and I was in there for another hour before my procedure. So for a no eat food before your procedure I was forced to wait 40 plus hours before completion. WAY too long. If you have the option look elsewhere. If not, grin and bear it. The in pre-op, op, and post op care quality is excellent but...management needs to look at some QC, stat.

I've had several (hammertoe and bunion) surgeries with him with excellent results. Office staff is very nice as well. I have also been to Dr. Berkley a few times when Dr . Kushel was on vacation and also have the highest opinion of her as well.

He determined that her foot had a broken bone and he gave her special orthotic shoes to wear for one week and then asked her to return for follow up. Emergent Care and other doctors were not as responsive or concerned, so it is lucky for my wife that she found Dr. Josh Ottenheimer in time to correct the problem.

In all fairness to Caring Podiatry, I feel I need to amend my previous review…read moreI was recommended to Caring Podiatry by a friend, I am a diabetic, who needs a a podiatrist to perform routine examinations on my feet, as well as trim my nails When I called the first time, I didn't remember the Dr's name, since they both start with 'S' I thought Dr Schmierer was the Dr who was recommended I made an appointment to see him, and apparently he has no knowledge in treating diabetics, he cut my toenails, and that was the entire visit Today, I saw Dr Shapero. The difference was night and day. He performed a very thorough examination on my feet as well as having the knowledge and patience to explain everything to me I highly recommend him. You may think that 1 person leaving practice because of them is no big deal, but when that person works in the medical field it will be a problem for you getting new patients or recommendations.
