Absolutely disgusting business practices. They were sold to a private equity firm or some larger entity a few years back and it has been nothing but cost costing, unethical treatment of patients and staff and zero support staff. You cannot make an appointment and when you have one it is impossible to reschedule or cancel. They say to call, email and text and you get zero response. When you do speak to them they have no record and just charged me for an appointment I had to miss over an emergency without willing to look at all of the attempts I made to contact them. I will need to find a new place. This place is unethical and not deserving of the patients that still put up with these low standards of service and care. read more

I should've listened to the reviews. My appointment said to arrive 15 minutes early. I arrived 20 minutes early and the moment I walked in I was told they were closed and I proceeded to tell them that I was told to arrive early and with attitude, they said yeah that's 145. We're closed for lunch right now. I automatically turned around and left. I refuse to be serviced in anywhere with people that answer their patients with attitude. Both my adult children and I went to this office on separate days for a full allergy panel. We were told by our insurance company that the visit would cost us $40 each. When my daughter went, she paid $40 at the time of the visit. When my son went, he paid $40 at the time of the visit. When I went, their system was down and they weren't able to charge me. A month later (October 2024), my son and daughter each got a bill for $40 for the scratch test - something they were never told would be an additional cost since that's what the appointment was for in the first place! - and I got a bill for $40 for the visit (which I had been expecting). I went to their office (10/14) with my son and my daughter, paid my $40 in cash and received a receipt. At that time, it was explained to me that each of my children were billed for the scratch test as it was an additional cost (mind you, I received that same exact treatment and, to this day, have never been billed for it!) My daughter had already paid the additional, it turns out, but I told them that I would have to consult with my insurance company because NONE OF US were never told of ANY additional costs at the time of ANY of our visits (three separate visits on three separate days over the course of three weeks). I even recommended to the woman at the office that they require a signature from patients to ensure that they understand any additional costs to stave off confusion such as this in the future. I received another bill for my initial visit dated 10/25. This letter said they were going to send this to collections! I sent them a copy of my receipt and a letter requesting them to clear my account. In addition, after consulting with my insurance company, I paid my son's additional $40 owed. On December 18, I received a collections letter for the amount of $80! When I checked online, my son's account was cleared but mine still showed a balance of $40, with one statement dated 10/25 and another dated 12/05 (which I have yet to receive). The full account history now says that I owed $40, then I owed $80, "then I owed $40, again and I still owe $40. Keep in mind that I have only ever been billed for "New Patient OV - Lvl 4". Every single statement I have ever gotten only lists that. I have never received a statement for anything else. And I paid $40 for the New Patient Office Visit on 10/14. Beware! This office's shady billing practices now have me dealing with a collections office. I am reporting them to the CMS as well as to my insurance company. Keep in mind that The No Surprises in Billing Act of 2022 requires providers to notify you of possible costs and give you, in advance, an "easy to understand" explanation of your rights and where to dispute claims. This office did NOT tell us there would be additional costs. They did NOT give us any explanation of our rights and after I paid what I was billed for, sent my account to collections! read more

My daughter suffers from many allergies. She has been coming to this center for a few years. All has been good in the past. A month or so ago, I called to ask for an email to send some school forms that needed to be filled out. I was told to come to the office in person because they did not accept forms via email or fax. Today, I came to the office and I'm told first that it would take 2 weeks for the 3 sheets of paper form to be filled out. When I said that it was unreasonable, the front desk staff called on a nurse to explain to me that my daughter's doctor left the company and there are currently no doctors in the office. I asked them to send it to any other company doctor since they have several offices in Miami. She said that the new doctor would have to see my daughter before signing the papers. My daughter's medical record is in the office showing all tests, prescriptions of EPI pens, etc. why do they have to delay these papers required by the school district? When i asked for the manager's phone number, i was told that they could not give me the number because it was personal. I clarified that I needed the business number, not the personal one. Apparently, it is impossible to communicate with the center's manager or district manager via phone or email to make a complain. one must call the general number, which by the way, takes forever to communicate with, to have this issue resolved. This company is using bad customer service, refusing to release personal medical records, and strange business practices hiding managers from customers/patient to avoid hearing complains and working to find solutions. read more

The ARNP & techs were amazing! However the ladies in the front desk...a joke. The moment we walked in, there was about 5-6 ladies in the front desk. Two of them doing each others hairs and speaking very loudly as if they weren't next to each other. I was handed paper work to fill in, and I couldn't even think bc of how loud these ladies were. I work in the medical field and I understand sometimes we don't always want to talk about work, that's fine. But once a pt comes in, it's time to be ok our best behavior. That wasn't the case here. They were very unwelcoming and that's what Kills as business. I was taken to the back and I can STILL hear the ladies being obnoxiously loud. Really annoying, honestly. Like I said the ARNP and techs were super professional, I feel bad that they work with people who don't help them seem as professional. As we walked out after the appointment, I said thank you and I got a "mhmmm" I won't be coming back here, unfortunately! Needs a whole re-do on their front desk customer service! read more

Dr. Sainz has been my physician for several years. The service that I receive is outstanding. The team is very professional and they go the extra mile to ensure the customers are taking care of. Great customer service is hard to find, and from the front line staff, the nurses and doctors they make you feel welcomed and they show you the true concern for your health. I was having so many mixed feelings about how many stars I would give Asthma and Allergy Association. I finally decided on 3 stars because the Doctor and the nurse that attended us before the doctor came in were all so very nice and attentive. Loren at the front desk was also very attentive, nice and professional. I took away 2 stars because of the front desk. We walked in and Loren greeted us, asked us for our referral took down all the information, no complains. During the WHOLE process of registering my son, waiting to be seen, and while we were inside being seen by the doctor the only thing I could hear was one of the girls from the front desk going on and on about her personal life, personal appointments she was pending to make, random personal conversations, etc. She would laugh so loud and obnoxiously that I could not stand it anymore. It's such a shame because this office really has a lot of potential but that girl in the front ruins it for them. I know work does not have to be a boring place but when customers walk in it's time to be professional! ESPECIALLY IN THE MEDICAL FIELD! If management does not have a serious conversation with that employee this will not be the first or last complain. She was just too much!! Our first time here. We finally found an Allergist that accepts our insurance. Wait time was minimal from check in to nurse to Doctor maybe 10-15 minutes. Dr. Patel is a nice lady she went over our history and came up with an action plan right away. It was nice to speak with someone who understands what our child is going through. Most doctors have given me the medication and no tools to get thru it. Dr Patel gave me medication and detailed instructions so for the first time in a very long while our child actually slept 8 straight hours with no midnight wake ups, screams of scratching or bouts of crying and rage. Happy mom night 1 follow up in a couple of weeks. read more

The customer service and professionalism in this clinic are evident. The team works very hard to ensure the patients are ok. My husband suffers from very strong allergies and since he started visiting the clinic his allergies are under control. He is now living a normal life.
