I knew how loved he was when he would gesture to go back in their arms. I can't say enough good things, mostly, I'm so happy my son has a safe and happy place away from home. They have a happy playful environment where kids can learn to be helpful, kind and smart in a very emotional way. I've met the other kids and they are so sweet with my son. They have nicknames for him and tell me stories. That's a testament to the environment they are raised in. Our kids at here for long parts of the day. To know that when you pick them up they are happy and content makes all the difference. Robin was quick to respond when we reached out and made sure to contact us right away when she had a spot available. Our decision was easy. That's exactly what you get at the Nest. It feels like dropping your kids off to be taken care of by family, it's small, and cozy, and so much fun! The kids have an awesome flow and structure to their day and they get to do so many fun things. From daily art and science projects, sensory bins, singing and dancing, amazing activities like visits from baby farm animals, puppies, water play, and fun holiday parties. My first child was a pandemic baby, she was severely shy and afraid to be away from us, within a couple of months at the nest, her true personality blossomed, she is now in TK and was chosen to be the speaker at her holiday performance, and can already read. I completely attribute these achievements to her time at the nest, where her true potential was developed. My second baby runs in every morning with joy, he has been there since he was 3 months old and has loved every minute of it. He loves his friends there and he loves his teachers, he's always so excited to tell me about what project he is working on. And we wouldn't have chosen to have a 3rd baby if we didn't have this amazing resource, the Nest is truly "our village", and we can't wait for our newborn to start going this summer! After finishing my maternity leave I started to look for a daycare nearby my work and found it very…read moredifficult. Either they did not open early enough for me to make it to work on time (I'm a teacher so my days start early) or the places I toured just didn't seem to have the set up or space I wanted for my daughter. Once I saw Tiny Tott's I knew it was the right place for us. Debra has created a terrific space for the kids to play in, with lots of different toys and books. Debra was always very communicative with what was going on with Josie during the day, and during pick up always let me know how she had eaten and napped during the day. Josie literally leaps out of my arms and into Ms Debra's arms in the morning. Josie also started talking so ridiculously early, that I can have full conversations with my 2 year old, and I do partially attribute that to the environment Ms Debra has set up at Tiny Tott's. Josie's started preschool this year and so we've had to go, but I really could not recommend Tiny Tott's more strongly.

After school, she is always mentioning her friends. I really love the community here and it does feel like a village of parents helping each other care for our children. There are also many opportunities for fun events to meet other parents. I really can't say enough good things about this daycare. It's clean, they provide breakfast, lunch, and snacks, and it's affordable. The activities are engaging and I really appreciate the practical life skills being taught. I found this place through Yelp as I was very in need of a daycare facility and after a tour I knew this was the place for my child. The main room is kept so organized and clean which can't be easy when you're dealing with so many kids day after day. Each child has their own cubby for personal items so I don't have to worry about her clothes being mixed up. They have plenty of outside time too on nicer weather days where they play either in the front or back play areas. At first my child was scared and yes it took about 2 months but now she is in love with Ms. Nelli and her husband - the perfect team! She has so much love and patience for my child, especially at nap time when my baby won't go to sleep lol. My LO has definitely increased her vocabulary in the 5 months she's been there and learning something new everyday. I'm so proud of her progress the help she's been given. I wish she could go there forever. If you're looking for your next daycare give them a call - you won't regret it!

Little Bee Academy Northridge is the most wonderful place. It was by luck I found them, but we…read moreliterally hit the jackpot. From the moment I walked in the door (pre-covid) the environment was warm and welcoming. My son was only 10 months old, not walking but very loving. I have watched my son learn colors, numbers and letters. He learned to share. He has had fun with art projects and water play (during the summer). He talks non-stop and so curious now, they encouraged him talk and really communicate. Potty training was scary as a first time mom of a boy but they made it a flawless teamwork transition. He was fully potty trained by 2 1/2. My son loves playing with all the other kids and it truly feels like a community. He runs in to see his friends every day with a giant smile on his face. Lastly, there were days that I was feeling overwhelmed as a mom, I didn't know how to handle a behavior situation at home and I felt I could talk to them and really absorb their advice. Just that little advice or encouragement to me was priceless! Thank you Nana, Sheena and the rest of the Little Bee teachers my son is lucky to have had you in all of our lives and we look forward to coming back to visit for many years to come! She offers flexibility with pick up hours for parents that might occasionally have to work past 6:00 and has a part time option since we'll likely be working in more of a hybrid model moving forward. On top of that, she was extremely kind and warm when we did our tour and her daycare is lovely, with lots of toys, activities and a great outdoor play area! Our boy loves the swing in the backyard and starts every day there with a big smile! Our son was born in the pandemic and has basically been attached to me 24/7 his whole life, so I'm very grateful that now he'll hopefully learn a little bit of independence and get to spend time socializing with other kids his age. Susanna has been very understanding of any separation anxiety and sends pictures throughout the day. She's incredibly patient and caring with him when he struggles to nap without me - that continues to be a work in progress, but hopefully he'll continue to improve!
