From the minute I walked in, the people were abrupt and unfriendly. Took forever to get waited on JUST TO RETURN a couple of accessories I bought online. I think the two reviews before mine are total opposite of mine but the earlier reviews totally agree with my experience. I waited over 20 minutes JUST to get waited on then 15 more to do my RETURN. He asked for my id (which seemed weird) to look up my account then disappeared...they have a "special process for returns of online items"... I would have been happy to buy these items in the store, thus, avoiding the need for a return, but they weren't in stock anywhere close by. read more

I called the Briarcliff store after walking out of the Decatur ATT store (Decatur told me that they could not/would not help me set up my new iphone purchased from ATT, though their store was empty--no customers). Alex was not having it and advocated for me with the other salesperson to receive the service I should have gotten in the first place, all the while offering to help me himself if I preferred. If not for Alex solving my issue over the phone, I would have had an unnecessarily complicated day and overall experience, but Alex's amazing service saved the day - and my sanity. I had a negative experience at this location. We were hoping to replace our phone due to a cracked screen and the phone is not responding. The first thing is that the wait time to be seen took way too long. We waited over 45 minutes to be seen. There was no sense of urgency for those that were waiting, Once we were seen, the AT&T rep was working overtime to upsell us on AT&T Fiber and other services that we did not need. He was more into the upsell than to actually stay focused on solving our problem. After we told the rep, we were not interested in Fiber, the AT&T rep continue to push it and the store manager even came over to push for us to get Fiber too. (We didn't get it). I understand they have a job to do to sell their products, but when a customer has to repeatedly say no, it becomes just way too much and very aggravating. Next, we went through the process of what the upgrade would cost and we told the rep we wanted to pay full price for the phone and he said that was not an option. We have had AT&T since Cingular and we always paid for our phones outright and not the monthly price that he kept pushing. I did check online to see if there was a full price payment option and the option is still there. Maybe this guy is new and didn't know. After, he gave us the price for everything, he then proceeds to tell us that the phone we wanted was not in stock. (It would have expedited our time if he checked to see if the phone was actually in stock before going through the final totals which took a very long time.) This whole ordeal was another 30+ minutes, so all of that for nothing. We ended up just filing a claim for a replacement phone. We left feeling so frustrated and with a headache! read more

Coming to this store altered my entire energy. everyone that I came in contact with had a very bad attitude and extremely smart responses. The lady here hit me with her braids trying to swing her hair as she walk away and I'm so baffled at why I was treated like a red headed step child. For the love of your sanity and time, DO NOT COME TO THIS STORE. We came to add additional lines to our account, apply a discount to those lines, and upgraded a few phones via trade in. You would think it's simple, right? WRONG. We sat there for 2 hours with a rep who didn't seem interested or knowledgeable, but it eventually got done. You would think that's the end of my story, right? WRONG. My spidey sense told me to check my online account when I got home. I found out that that fool of a rep, put the additional lines in a separate account. Now tell me how am I supposed to apply my discount if those lines aren't even under my account?? Then, he added a bunch of warranty protection without asking me. I had to spend 2 hours with online customer service to fix his mess. ***This store is a joke. They need to retrain their employees. AT&T has become the biggest crock of bullsharks in the game these days, I'm not even sure how they stay in business, customer service is hopeless and horrible. Yea, the people in this store are friendly and knowledgeable and all, and they'll set you up real nice, they'll sell you anything! What they don't tell you is that you're on your own once you leave that store. Phone broke? Your bill looking crazy? Need tech support? Anything that doesn't involve an in-store purchase? Yea, you gotta call 1 800 DIFFERENT PLANET and PRAY you get someone who speaks any kind of English at all. Oh, you're calling because your modern isn't working, okay, do you have Direct TV? We have a special on Direct TV. You don't even have a TV? Great! I've just set you up for Direct TV! ... when you're angry enough to start cussing your call will be escalated to someone who does speak English, but will just repeat the same nonsense back to you over and over. . and argue with you about whatever it is you're trying to accomplish. They'll have to forward your call to the wrong department and you'll end up back on the phone with someone who takes 15 minutes to get your name on the account right even though you're spelling it out. After you've wasted an hour and a half of your life you'll think you've got everything fixed, but then you'll get a bill for $300 cause AT&T is so stupid they mess everything up and somehow set you up for two different cable accounts for the same address.. Initiate another 1.5 hour long phone conversation where you're informed that you'll need to pay an early termination fee for one of those accounts because they don't care that there's clearly an error on their end, because who needs two cable accounts for the same address? And it's impossible to cancel anything. Whoever they say they're forwarding you to doesn't even exist. AT&T is a trap. It is literal hell that you cannot escape. read more

We switched to At&t U verse (it's only been one month!). The quality of the cable is horrendous and prices are outrageous! The customer service is poor! They are thieves! We were told our bill would be $80 a month (steep to begin with). We were charged for an ENTIRE MONTH OF SERVICE FROM FEBRUARY 2ND TO THE 5TH?!?! (Plus activation fees), amounting to $170!!!?!?! The worse. While moving back to AT&T. (Cause Sprint turned into TMobile with the worst service). I knew AT&T would be pricey but better connection. Made the switch was sold on discounts and free Apple Watch with my old trade in. Looked online and free my butt. Phone deals my butt. Went back to the store they let me to know there wasn't no free Watch deals and no phone deals. Well that's not what the the rep told me when I came in before. Manager wasn't no big help she could of cared less. So I gladly returned the Watch now they wanna charge me a restock free for an item there rep said was free with my trade in of my old Watch. (Original rep wasn't there when I went back) so finally got the manager to cut that fee in half. There selling discounts that don't even exist to just get you in and trap you. I have no money to be playing games with big businesses still recovering from the pandemic and this is how you do business. I am so annoyed right now. I ordered an iPhone 6s on 4/5 and electronically signed the contract. It is now 4/15 and I still don't have my phone. I used the chat features two times last week and both times the chat people were useless, I called two different customer service numbers and they couldn't even tell me why my phone hadn't shipped. I finally got another number and I was told my phone was on back order. It took 2 chats and 3 separate phone calls to find this out. Come Monday I'm cancelling my order, I'll just stick with my old iPhone 5s. I wish there was a complaint number. This place... So there are not many ATT stores at all in and out of the city. I needed to get my phone replaced in Aug and could not deal with the stress of the Apple store. So I went here. I arrived around 4-5pm on a weekday. Hours of operation said they closed at 9pm, yet they were closed. The next day I came back, ask what happened the day prior, they gave me an excuse about closing early due to fumes from construction next door. But there was no sign on the door stating that.Fine. The manager this day was helpful, and directed me to get my screen repaired instead of a new phone since the new phones were coming out in Sep, just over 2 weeks away, so that was nice. I made an appointment end of Sep to upgrade my phone. The appointment was for 10:30am, just know that means 11:00am and beyond. Which would be fine, but just let an appointment be an appointment. Don't have me sitting waiting for 30mins, on a lunch break. Just have me come when it's time to be seen, that's all I'm asking for. They are just as bad as a doctors office. Anyway, the blonde in the front was not pleasant. I asked her if I should leave and come back, her response was rude. When I did finally get seen, the salesman I had was nice/thorough, but he didn't make up for the poor taste I had in my mouth from this store. My appointment was at 10:30am, I didn't leave the store until 12:45pm. Missing a meeting a planned in my office at 12. Please respect my time. That's all. read more

While I've been in this store with friends and family before, this was the first time that *I* had to go in. I've been with T-Mobile for years, and I'm now making the transition to AT&T. After having a good idea of what I wanted by reviewing the website, I went into the store hoping to get through with minimal hassle. Let me say, I was more than impressed with how things went! While Sundays at this location are very busy, there is an organized way of checking in customers, and then (and this is the part T-Mobile stores don't have), allowing customers to easily see where they are in line. I was 7th in line when I came in, and the wait was about 10 minutes. Not bad at all. When it was my turn, I was greeted by Ramon. Now, this entire review wouldn't have happened without Ramon helping my the way he did. He was able to quickly take the information I gave him about what plans I wanted, the fact that I was porting my number, etc, and got me through the system very quickly. In addition, he also helped me set up a military discount, which he also applied to the cost of a phone dock I wanted. Finally, he gave me some information regarding different plans I might be interested in if I ever decide to add a tablet to my account. Working with Ramon made the entire process feel not only streamlined, but personal as well. I went into the briarcliff att store to add my child's tracker phone to my plan. I was sold a 10$ a month plan to add the phone. However the rep could not get the phone to activate. He was also distracted by phone calls and was trying to buy a car on the phone while dealing with me. After he checked with his manager he advised me that his manager said I should buy a phone made in America and not China. I then asked to cancel the line and was told that they no longer can do that in the store and that I would have to call costumer service to cancel the number they just sold me. I left the store and called customer service and was told that this was not true and the line was cancelled. My question to the manager that would never come out to talk to me is.. what phones are made in the USA? What other options do I have. And is it a good practice to have his employees buying a car on the phone while helping customers? Not a good experience... read more

When I was able to make it in (I'm disabled and don't drive), I was rudely told that I was not allowed to do that in store and that the emails, screen shots, and chat transcripts saying otherwise were incorrect. **Bad Service *** This is my first bad experience at a at&t store. I went to add a line and convert my plan to family plan. It took them a while to activate a new line. Sales associate didn't give us a confirmation printout of services added to our plan. We only needed call, data and messaging. He confirmed with us the same. After few days we found insurance,road side assistance and mobile protection pack added to our new line. This clearly shows the dishonest practice of a salesman. I've had problems with my iPhone 4s ever since I got it from this store in May 2012. Tons of attempted up-sells, unauthorized added charges to our bill, etc. AT&T cell reception in this area is also terrible. Tons of dropped calls. No one can hear me when I'm making a phone call in the house. Do you have any idea how frustrating it is when you're trying to make an urgent call and you get a "Call Failed" on your screen? After experiencing an urgent incident two weeks ago when I was trying desperately to make calls and getting the "Call Failed" thing over and over, my husband and I realized how imperative it was for us to switch carriers ASAP. read more

Long wait time for something that literally could have taken less than 2 minutes. I needed a replacement SIM card. The one I was given didn't even fit SMH. Customer service was maybe a 5 out of 10. Having an issue with exchanging my Note 7 with AT&T due to recall on Samsung. I'm a week behind on the bill and they will not take the phone. Even though they sent a text to return the phone. Went to snellsville location who was rude. Even though it's not my fault. Told me that he will not be making the exchange. Regional manager Octavia is stating that we will need to go back to were i purchased the phone. I've been working on this since 9am and now it's 3:25pm with no resolution.
