To my surprise and disappointment, the Apple Store was no longer stocking either for my model, an Xs Max. Immediately outside the store was a kiosk selling all sorts of accessories for numerous brands of mobile phones. While I was looking for a black or gray phone case, which they did not have, I settled for a blue one. The rep, whose name was Chilli, expertly removed my damaged screen protector, cleaned the screen, and placed a tempered glass protector. He did the same for the case protector. I was done in less than 5 minutes, mission accomplished. Highly recommend this as an alternative to Apple Store for your Apple compatible accessories.

There really isn't that many places that repair computer these days so I was a little hesitant that they could even do the job honestly. But I stopped in the other days and things started well. It wasn't too busy. Once it was my turn at the counter the nice fella there explained that the diagnostic would cost I think 85 bucks or so and that if a service is performed that would be taken off the total at the end. That's the part that I could feel would be a test of trust. I gave us my computer putting my faith I would get it back better or at least without its memory wiped. they called the next day and said the hard drive wasn't really repairable and that they could put in a new solid-state. They said they would do their best to transfer all data. Cut to 3 days later. Computer was back to fast,, tons of memory and everything was transferred. Amazing. I'm sure they cant fix every problem, but they fixed mine.

It was clearly taken apart in an attempt to fix it, then labeled "unfixable" or too expensive to do so--but instead of reassembling it properly, they returned it missing screws and without the internal factory cover. This is completely unacceptable. It's not your decision whether something is "worth fixing"--your job is to either repair it or return it exactly as it was given. What I received back was careless, incomplete, and honestly a mess. I ended up ordering the parts myself to try to fix it, and that's when I saw just how poorly it had been handled. This level of negligence is beyond disappointing. I would not trust them with any device.

I looked around on Yelp and found this highly reviewed place and called and asked if they could fix my phones. They were fortunately having a special and were able To see me that day and have my phones ready. Unfortunately I was super busy for about a week and kept missing them. So today I asked if they could see me and even though they were going to close, they kept the store open for me to come in and get my phones fixed!!! Now I can type again and have a beautiful lovely screen! They even added some screen Protectant glass and have a 30 day warranty if there are issues due to installation. I'm so happy! He said it would take 24 hours to fix the screen. I initially felt that seemed excessively long, but he informed me that a part needed to be ordered for this specific phone. I got the impression that if I told him it was absolutely urgent, it could have been done sooner. Regardless, I accepted it, and gave him my phone to fix. Though I was informed that my phone was fixed just before the close of business on the same morning that it was dropped off, I waited til the following day because I was busy. I went back and worked with another associate. He initially told me that the cost was hundreds of dollars, but I let him know that it was covered by insurance. He double checked, and I was correct. I asked him just out of curiosity how much it would it have cost if I did not have insurance. The answers was close to $500. The takeaway is to have the best case and gorilla glass on your phone to avoid such an atrocious expense, but moreover, pay for insurance. The screen and the phone were good as new. The insurance company picked up the entire bill. My hope is you never crack your phone or do not need to visit this establishment type, but if you do, this is a fine choice.

I was quoted what I expected and told that there is a lifetime warranty on the screen for if if ever stops responding to touch. That's fantastic! It took about an hour to repair the screen, but it was cracked and a chunk was missing at the bottom. I couldn't even unlock my phone and it's good as new now. I even got a free screen protector! I highly recommend this place for repair your your broken screen.
