They couldn't find a problem with it, so Jason, the owner brought the turntable to my house and set it up on my system so he could hear what I was hearing. While he was there, he also wired up the banana plugs I had purchased for my speaker wire because I didn't have the tiny screwdriver necessary. I mean- who does house calls in 2026? They did! There are a few technicians out there today who know how to work on vintage equipment. I highly recommend electronic laboratory for anybody who needs repairs not only to vintage equipment but to modern systems. They know what they're doing, are affordably priced and are a super friendly family business.

On this visit I've dropped off some unusual equipment from my photographic darkroom. But since 2013 I've been coming here to get vintage stereo equipment worked on. It looks like they have more workshop space in the new location... which is probably good since they do a big business in TV repairs. And TVs aren't getting any smaller! They are, as always, very busy. You'll drop off your equipment after checking it in for an evaluation. They have a price schedule for diagnostics, which is fair. It will probably take a couple to a few days to get an estimate or evaluation. In my experience they always stick to their estimated timeframe for repairs. They do great work here!!!

The prices were good and they had a good inventory of them. The staff is not abundant, but if you look for someone, they will be happy to help.

Had to visit Staples while I was on my trip, and I must say the customer service was terrible. The…read moreemployee working in the Copy & Print Center clearly seemed like he didn't want to do his job--or maybe this was the most customers he's had to deal with all week, and it's only Wednesday. The printers were having issues, and instead of assisting the multiple customers who needed help, he walked around with an attitude, offered little assistance, and even helped people out of order. After speaking with a manager, I expected the situation to improve, but unfortunately the service only got worse. I waited over 30 minutes for assistance and still didn't receive the help I needed. To make matters worse, none of the employees appeared to be wearing name tags, making it impossible to identify who was assisting customers. Customer service should be a priority, especially when customers are already dealing with equipment problems. This experience at the Staples location on North Federal Highway in Lighthouse Point was extremely disappointing.

I had them fix my laptop and they fixed it wrong which caused my screen to break and when I called them they told me I broke the screen and they can't do anything about it. So it was better for me not to bring the laptop because my screen would not have broken due to them fixing the laptop incorrectly. I asked to speak to a manager and they refused to give me a contact for a manager. I will make sure everyone knows how horrible this place is and to never use them for any repair. They do not repair anything correctly and then will blame you when it breaks again.

I purcahsed another phone case and a mirror cover for my iphone 4 without looking at it first before buying it. I took it home and didn't like how the mirror cutted so I decided to return those items (phone case, color isn't what I wanted anymore and mirror cover). This worker, NERIDA, gave me terrible attitude said "what's wrong with it?" I said "nothing, I dont like how the mirror cut and phone case isn't what I want". She talked so fast and asked me questions that I couldn't understand her because I'm deaf. She wanted my card to put the refund back in so I handed her my card. I said "do you have an attitude?" and she said "2 customers returned something today", I said "that is not my problem and I want the refund back in my card". I asked for the manager's name and she said she is the manager. (I find that very hard to believe). I asked her for her name and business card. I told her that she need to clean up her attitude because she is a bitch!! I had to click on one star but supposedly NO STAR for this attitude lady!! If you bump into Nerida at the shop, AVOID HER!!
