This has been one of the most disturbing customer experiences I've ever had. An AT&T employee, Markisha Jackson, completely mishandled our account from the moment it was opened and sold us three phones and three lines under misleading circumstances. Nothing about this experience was honest, transparent, or legitimate. Since day one, our account has been a disaster: double charges, unexplained fees, ignored support requests, service interruptions, and even NYC taxes added to our bill despite us not living in New York nor buying the phones there. Our phone lines were shut off the literal day after we traded in our old phones, and another employee, Ma'lissa Austin, attempted to not give any sort of physical paper proof of this trade-in, (which is standard protocol for phone trade-ins at any Internet store) claiming the printer wasn't working, which I then had to then persist in asking for at least a written paper showing the phone values so the bill can be accurate. Day after, service was off. When we called, asked for assistance, and then asked for a manager, Markisha hung up instead, and proceeded to ignore each call after. No follow-up. No documentation. No accountability. We are now being billed over $3,200 for services and devices that were misrepresented from the start. And this is not everything -- there is more that has occurred, all pointing to a clear pattern of predatory sales tactics, deceptive billing, and deliberate obstruction when customers try to escalate. At this point, AT&T's behavior does not resemble a legitimate service provider. It resembles a scam operation that relies on confusion, pressure, and silence to extract money from customers. If AT&T leadership or operations management is reading this: audit this account, review the recorded sales interactions, and investigate employee conduct immediately. No customer should ever go through this. The employees are running this place with their commission being their only concern in the end. Avoid AT&T unless you are prepared to fight to protect yourself. read more

AT&T Trade-In Warning - Customers Please Read Before Trading Your Phone I want to warn other customers about my experience with AT&T so you can avoid what I'm currently dealing with. In November, I opted to trade in my phone. I contacted customer service because I had misplaced the small trade-in slip. I was told that was fine and instructed to take my phone directly to an AT&T store. When I went to the store, I was told they could not accept the phone and that I needed to call customer service again. After calling, customer service created an RMA, instructed me to return the phone, and I dropped it off as directed. AT&T received my phone in November, which is clearly shown in the screenshots. The phone was in mint condition with nothing wrong with it. Now, in January, AT&T is attempting to charge me $800, claiming the phone was returned outside of the 60-day window--despite the fact that they received it on time. To make matters worse, they are now saying they will charge me the $800 and return the phone. This situation is unacceptable. I followed every instruction given by AT&T, contacted customer service multiple times, and returned the phone exactly as directed. This issue is the result of miscommunication and internal handling errors, not customer negligence. Customers should be very cautious when trading in phones, document everything, and be prepared to escalate if necessary. read more

As a salesperson I feel qualified enough to say that the salespeople at this store are absolutely incompetent and uninterested in sales as a whole. after being promised an iPhone 15 pro max by 10/10/2023 and not receiving it or even having the phone order shipped by that date after waiting a month. I can confirm that there is no reason for you to waste your time or your money at this location. There are always alternative routes to take to get what you want. Whoever is in management at this location should really evaluate the performance levels of the sales team and see if they have any employees that actually want to be there. read more

As a long time customer, I tried to take advantage of the advertising claims of up to $800 off for an Iphone 13. After a five minute wait while the three idle employees ignored us, I was finally told that as a long time customer the phone would cost $1200 I declined and then called the AT&T customer service number. I was told that the only reason to charge me full price would be if I had unpaid bills or outstanding credit issues. My record is perfect as the clerk in the store could see when he checked me in. I was able to buy the phone at a significantly lower price. read more

Rating: 4.5/5. The best deal on home internet around here is offered by AT&T. Their price was significantly cheaper than their competition at Comcast/Xfinity: AT&T waived the $99 installation fee. Their lowest home internet package was at $40 + taxes per month. Including the taxes, you will pay monthly $60. The modem was included. The store was luminous and clean. The process was streamlined and efficient. During the week, you could schedule a home installation between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.. What was awesome compared to Verizon was that AT&T allowed you to schedule a home installation on Saturdays. Greg was the friendly customer associate who greeted me warmly and assisted me immediately. The point of improvement would be for him to invest in a pair of glasses or contact lenses. For example, Greg wasn't able to read the data in small print on my driving license. Thus, I ended up filling my own application on his iPad to set-up my account. I noticed all other customers were helped within five minutes by the three A&T associates. It was easy to park on the shopping center parking lot. AT&T was located a short walk from a Starbucks, Target, Panera Bread and Moe's. read more

As always, amazing service at the AT&T store on Washington road. Michelle and her manager helped me through the process of replacing my broken iPhone using the AT&T insurance program, then fully made sure the phone I received was set up and connected to my Apple Watch cell plan. Additionally, they are taking great care to keep a clean environment during the pandemic. They respectfully asked customers to wear masks, clean their hands with sanitizer and keep a distance. No one ever wants to go into a Phone Store unless they have to, so it is good that this particular store is night, well-sized, comfortable (for a place you aren't supposed to have to hang out in) and easy to access. The staff isn't pushy like they can be in some stores that work on commission, when I've told them that we were just in the store to look at upgrading "in a few weeks" they've been helpful without getting in our way. When I've needed to upgrade my phone they've been accommodating and not tried to push me into anything I didn't want or need. Like I said, no one wants to go into a phone store just for fun, but at least this location makes it less painful than it sometimes can be. read more

I ordered internet service through AT&T and it took them 3 weeks to come out and hook it up, they sent me an activation kit with no modem. To install the internet they ran a cable wire across my front yard didn't bury the wire or anything just ran across my front yard. I called AT&T about 10x in one day and gotten hung up on every time. I have had a horrible experience with this company and am looking for a different company I do not recommend this company to anyone. read more

I think it's funny that phone service stores always have the worst reviews. A lot of people seem to sign themselves up for contracts without realizing what they're actually signing up for. Do your research!!! Google is an amazing website. I've been with att since 2009 and I've never had any problems. I came to the store to get some things sorted out with the upgrade I just did. The staff was super helpful and friendly. I did have to wait for a few minutes because they were quite busy. I'd try to go at a time when it probably won't be busy if you're going to come here for some type of service. read more

I have never been treated with such disregard by a customer service oriented store We've had an account with them for years! They screwed up the account when it was created and assured us it wouldn't make any difference. Well the accidental insurance we were carrying $800 worth throughout the contract was attached to a secondary phone that we had turned off because they were charging us incorrectly and didn't seem interested in correcting. Because that insurance was attached to the incorrect phone, we lost that coverage without any warning!!! Like oh by the way, remember when we set your primary phone to a secondary, your going to loose that coverage all it would've taken is a switch at the time we canceled that secondary (incorrectly primary) phone. Also, every time we've visited that store ( to NOT correct issues) the music is so loud we have to shout at each other.... SERIOUSLY! They've been aweful to my kids.... who are playing at the table with a device.... isn't that the purpose?‍ The lady that particular day was a complete witch.... like asking questions that can only be answered if we go waste our time INSIDE the store (no account info can be discussed over the phone) was such a hard thing. Hmm thought that was the job‍ If my husband didn't work for AT&T and receive a quasy concession there's ZERO chance we would still do business with them. So I STRONGLY recommend going to another carrier.... one that doesn't purposely lie there off & treat you like nothing but a bother. Although I'm not sure one exist! read more

This store sucks major @$$ I watched 2 episodes of ghost adventure and still no service. I walked and I was put on a waiting list and I was told that someone would be with me. Two episodes later I still haven't been helped. All the employees go hide in the back room, when someone walks in the store one person comes out from the back room with their little tablet put their name on the list and go back to the back room and hide. I'm giving this store a NEGATIVE 5 Stars. Don't mind that one star, I had to put it there to be able to post this review. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! !! read more
