I spoke with Mickey who assured me that the store had a few Samsung S23 Ultras left. We knew that since we would be trading in our phones, that it would take a while to get everything set up. When we arrived Mickey, was a one woman show. She was simultaneously helping us along with several other customers. Our process took longer than expected and the store ended up closing. (a few hours had passed). I informed her that I could return on Wednesday to continue transferring my photos and text messages. Fast forward to Wednesday when I arrived, Mickey not only remembered me, but she continued helping me get everything successfully converted over. I say all of this to say that my faith in customer service has been restored. From someone who has worked in a few call centers, this young lady has a way with customers. Among many other things, she is knowledgeable, considerate, extremely patient and has a take charge attitude. Upon leaving the store, I recognized that she had a certificate posted for Employee of the month. I can unequivocally say that she has earned that tile! He had it from Friday morning from 10:25am- approx same time of the day on the following Monday 05/09/2015. I made 2 trips to the business on Saturday 5/7/2016, each time trying to see if & when I would be able to get the computer back. Then, Darryl Comer choose to send me a vial & threatening voice mail stating he is refusing to do the repair, he threatened me if I he ever saw me close to his business beside picking up my laptop. I picked up my laptop after it sitting amongst a computer graveyard. I asked for my deposit back and the gal working slowly moved a stack of empty boxes that blocked a sign stating deposit will not be returned if customer choose for them to not do the repair. Darryl Comer made that decision, NOT ME! This was a matter of principle. I don't care if it was $1 or $25., he made all of the decisions including not touching my laptop. So, I contacted my CC and of course I was going to appeal the charge. So, I gave my version and Comer gave a very different one UPDATE: After a complete investigation I was refunded the deposit Comer refused to return, By phone he said my laptop needed a piece & would need to be ordered, when I did get it repaired the following day, a group of 20+ professionals all looked at each other a bit dumbfounded when I told them what piece he said he had to order.
