My choices were not available in-store, but Axel set-up next day shipping to my home. Thank you to Axel, and manager, Cody, for all your help during my visit! Yesterday, I went back in to purchase accessories, since I had received my devices and transferred all my data. Justin was very helpful. Even manager, Yolanda, stepped in to assist when we couldn't locate the red light screen protector I wanted that showed to be in stock. Very thankful to Yolanda, who searched the front and back of the store until she located it. Can't say enough about the 5 star service I received during both visits. I've worked in customer service before and I know it's not an easy job, but the way you speak and inform your customers should be priority. They were somewhat informative but just talked to me and my partner like we were stupid any time we asked a question. Avoid This Store - I Got Robbed and Lied To I purchased my phones through Best Buy with AT&T, and before returning my old phones, I went to this AT&T corporate store on Woodruff Road because I was having an issue and thought they could help. I brought my old phones to return them, and the manager himself took the phones from me. Everything seemed fine--until three months later, I received a huge bill from AT&T claiming I never returned the phones. I went back to the store, and suddenly everyone acted like they had no idea what I was talking about. They told me they weren't allowed to take phones and basically made me feel like I was crazy. I gave them the exact date and time I dropped off the phones and told them to check the cameras. There is literally a camera right above the desk where I handed the phones over. They said they'd review the footage and call me back. They never did. When I followed up, I was told--conveniently--that the cameras "weren't working" that day. So now I'm stuck paying for phones I already returned, and AT&T refuses to help. This store is shady, dishonest, and completely unprofessional. I ended up switching to T-Mobile because of this whole mess. Do NOT trust this store. AT&T corporate needs to investigate what's going on here. read more

Was attempting to switch over from Verizon to Att using the phone accessed CustomerService Rep. While trying to switch over we lost service. We rushed to local Att store but they had closed early due to low staffing. Luckily the gps still worked and went to this Woodruff store right before closing. The staff were very friendly. Bishop and Axel wrestled with phones to get them to function properly. They did it with a smile and are a credit to the store and Att in general. Thanks guys!!! read more

Without going beyond "what are you here for," the employee told me they would charge me a $55 recycling fee for a phone which not even opened and received the prior day. This led to the assistant manager who couldn't even greet me telling me he could give me a label to ship the phone back but his store wouldn't do anything to help other than charging me. Wow, shocking service today, after 8 years of working with them and buying our Apple products from them. My Apple 6 has been dropping calls despite getting all the "updates" so we went to the AT&T store for help. We were met outside by a big guy with loads of tattoos and a foul attitude. My husband told him the issue to which the employee replied, "you have to do your due diligence!" WTH does THAT mean to a senior citizen?? He then said they don't service Apple products and ordered us to 101 Main Street, Greenville. Rudeness doesn't bring customers. Someone needs to NOT work with the public. No matter who the manager(s) are, the worker bee people are there to SELL ONLY; never to help u solve issues. High turnover rate since they can't solve customer problems. For instance, today I asked Ray and Manager Kitty to set simple fiber install date for July. Get home it's set wrong for this Sat to increase higher sales quota, but in spite of second visit out to retail, they cannot correct the problem they created. Would not even look up work order ! I purchased a new phone recently from this store. The sales clerk went and collected all the accessories for me and checked me out. I went out of town the very next day. I realized while I was out of town that I was sold the wrong size screen protector. I tried to switch it out and was told they would only reimburse half as I was outside of their 14 day return time period. Very bad business considering I wasn't the one that picked out the accessory. have taken my sister's Iphone, mom's Iphone, and my Iphone here in the last 30 days for various problems with the settings which I couldn't figure out on my own even after looking for the answer online (was so frustrated with mom's phone that I was about to wipe it and start over if I couldn't get it to work) - Daro in particular has been EXTREMELY helpful, and everyone here seems very bright - much faster and easier than going to the Apple Store - they all really seem to know what they're doing here, 10/10 would recommend (the only negative is the store is a bit easy to overshoot and only accessible going west, so don't get going too fast) read more

First thing: This location is inconvenient, with access off a four lane road (Woodruff), right where it connects with I-85. Traffic is always heavy in this area. If going west, toward Greenville, you may have no problem -- but if you're headed toward Woodruff, it can be tough to get into the store. Basically, you have to go just past the store, turn into Old Country, and enter through the back parking lot. We're here visiting family, and hubby forgot his phone charger. He disappeared into the store at 9:05 am, and walked out with his charger at 9:22. At first, he was sold the wrong charger (he needed one for his Mophie; she sold him one for the phone). Thank goodness he checked it before he left the store! She had to delete the transaction & ring it up again. After minor hassle, we were able to get what we needed and go on our way. read more

This is to acknowledge the outstanding service that I received at the AT&T store in Greenville, SC. I was assisted by store manager Erica and sale associate Derek. I purchased a new phone that I would ultimately return back to the AT&T Store, two days after the purchase. I decided to purchase another mobile phone and add it to the cell provider of my existing business account. As Derek and I were discussing the return and refund, Erica informed me of the (20%) restocking fee, which is more than half the cost of what I paid for the cell phone. The purchase price of my phone was ninety ($90.00) dollars, so the restocking fee represented a loss of more than fifty (50%) of my refund. Needless to say, I was shocked and at loss for words upon hearing that my refund would be reduced by (50%). Erica stated that the (20%) restocking fee is a standard cost and is not relative to the cost of the product. However, Erica exercise her managerial discretion and gave me a full refund. The people who work here are awesome. Not not only were they super professional but personable too! Did we have to wait? Yes a little bit, but there were a lot of customers in line! The minute we walked in and sat down we got signed up for the waiting list. People who give this place a bad review need to go back to grade school and learn a little patience and how to wait your turn. The world doesn't revolve around you. My young adult daughter went in to upgrade her phone on our family plan. I was out of town so she went by herself. She was told she had to purchase two add ons, one being insurance, that she could drop in two weeks if she changed her mind. I've been an Att customer for years and upgraded multiple times and never had to purchase insurance. She called me after she left the store. I was not happy that they sold her things she did not want! I called the store and spoke with Jaris. I was upset, but not rude and definitely not using bad language. All I wanted was to speak the salesperson that helped my daughter. Then Jaris hung up on me! I called back and spoke with Jeremy. He was nicer, but I still didn't understand why this store has a policy you have to purchase these things. I would go to another store where you can choose what you want! Oh, and I asked to speak to management and they were gone for a week. I called back after a week and Eric, manager, was on a conference call. As an owner of 3 businesses myself and someone that has yet to write a bad review to date, her behavior was so rude that I can't ignore it. My experience was stellar. I walked in knowing exactly what I wanted (new service, keep my number, iphone6plus) and the woman who greeted me when I walked in was just as focused. She was kind, pleasant and easy to talk to, and i was able to complete my transaction in under 25 mins. Yes. That fast. They had what I wanted in stock. She answered ALL my questions competently and even addressed a few things I had not thought of! And she even put the special glass screen protector i chose on my phone for me-with a SMILE. That being said, I agree with the other reviews about the location. It stinks. Unfortunately in cell phone sales, you never know what you will get. There are a lot of sad/bad sales people out. I wasn't around in the "good ole days" when regular men owned stores and put customer service and honest business ahead of profit margins and corporate goals. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the customer service and professionalism of two managers at this AT&T location. Thanks to Dan and Elliot I now have a sense of what doing business "back in the day" may have felt like. Long story short-I went into AT&T excited to get a new phone. No store in the area had the phone I wanted in stock. Big bummer. While I wanted a rose gold 6s plus, I told Dan I would gladly accept any color that could be located. Dan told me to come back the next day (today) and he would have a phone. I returned today and Dan had went far and beyond the call of duty and not only kept is word and located me a phone, thereby saving me the 3-5 days it would have taken to order one, but he also tracked down a rose gold phone (plus a gold phone for my mom.) Way to go Dan!!! Dan did not have to go to the trouble of finding me a phone, he easily could have told me that I had to order a phone or pick a different type of phone but he opted to go the extra mile. Long into the process of changing carriers we (my parents were also switching) hit a bump in the road and this is where Elliot arrives. Elliot was cool under pressure and acted swiftly to get the process back on track. I have been in many situations where the manager acts only as an advocate for the employee and the company but Elliot was a fair judge of the situation and acted accordingly. Dan became aware of the issue and took further reactive steps to ensure we were happy. Overall, while the process went down a slightly different path than I imagined it would, I could not be more pleased with my transition to AT&T. Also, if you are Dan or Elliot, our sales guy really was great until the roadblock. I think he crumbled a bit under pressure but we all have bad moments and it would be unjust to define him solely on the basis of the time he didn't shine as bright as normal. If you are Dan and/or Elliot's boss, the guys deserve a gold star or a perhaps a raise because they are solid managers and representatives of AT&T. read more

This is the worst store. Worst customer service. They did not even acknowledge us when we walked in or after we stood around for ten minutes waiting. Then I finally said something to the guy as he and his fellow coworker and BOTH talking to the same woman about how their day was going !! Unbelievable. They have lied to my boyfriend, and given him the run around. They are the most unhelpful. I'm really not sure how this store is in business. I have been in customer service my entire life.
