Even…read morethough a few of our club members wanted to go anywhere else, a couple people talked us into giving the MI Antique Fest ONE MORE TRY. What a waste of time and money! Charge way to much to get in, even charged for the driver of a show car. Fewer vendors each year as this once great show dies slowly like a fish out of water. The entire fairgrounds used to get filled with vendors, now less than 1/2 full. I realize Midland County most likely has raised the cost to rent the grounds, but at what cost to the show quality and numbers? I had enjoyed this show for decades, back when the flea market was big, the food vendors were all over, and you had a good car show and sales lot. NOT anymore. R.I.P. MI Antique Fest

Had an amazing time this weekend. Sure, you pay to get in but I also found out they donate so a…read morelot of organizations, the gate I came in was all volunteers from the girl scouts and Oxford HS. Plus, I was surprised with a free ticket to get in the next day. $10 is a deal for shopping, being outside in a beautiful park, good food and getting back to normal. I love a company that gives back to their community! Also, I bought a very cool dresser and some heavy glass and a very handsome fireman assisted me with getting it back to my vehicle. I look forward to the next show!

Smaller store. There are a lot of clearance items and a fairly big home goods section. The men's…read moreselection is about half the size of the women's selection. No CMU apparel sold here...not even cups. I love that they have Rae Dunn home goods! Update: There is an elderly man that works in the changing room area and he made my day. He is one of those employees that truly loves his job. Once I made my way to the dressing room he wished me luck that my outfit choices would work out for me. I dread clothes shopping in general but this man just made it a little bit better for me with his enthusiasm and genuine kindness.

Love the stores but don't like that at 20 minutes before they close they lock the doors and flip…read morethe sign to closed. When I said we still have 20 minutes till close, I was told that they do that so they can get everyone checked out. If your sign says your open till 7 pm then that is when you close. This happened at the Midland store but has also happened at the other MO stores as well. I love searching for all the neat things they get but when I think I have a half hour only to be told basically I have ten minutes. If the stores are going to post the hours of operation then that is when they should lock the doors and turn the closed sign.
