Buyer Beware! Unauthorized Account Changes! Check your AT&T account after upgrading your phone. We upgraded two iPhones at this store, and while the transaction seemed seamless, we later discovered unauthorized changes to our plan. Our monthly bill increased by over $50 per phone due to added services like $17/month insurance, $10/month AT&T Next Up (for yearly upgrades), and a switch to the most expensive plan--all without our consent. I spent more than 30 minutes with AT&T customer service to remove these charges, but some can't be removed until next month, requiring another call. When we returned to the store to question these charges, employees claimed these additions are automatic unless declined. This is NOT official AT&T policy. This store is a private, authorized retailer, not a corporate AT&T store, which allows them to engage in these deceptive practices. To save time, money, and avoid headaches, upgrade through a corporate AT&T store or a reputable retailer like Best Buy or Wal-Mart that doesn't engage in such shenanigans. read more

I have been a customer of AT&T fo many years and I haven't more unprofessional team. The Manger, Chance starting helping us our upgrade and everything was okay until he gave us over to another team member that didn't know anything about the promotions that were going on when I was showing him on my phone that there is a credit promo going on. He then tired to sell me a plan that I wasn't interested in because I already told him that I just wanted to upgrade my grandmothers phone who was on my plan. This isn't my home store and I was just at the other location a few days prior upgrading my device. After trying to convince him that I didn't want to change my plan because I didn't need another line, he said "all I'm trying to do is save you money" , he tells us that we will be paying more money because we HAVE to get insurance for her device. I then told him that I'm just going to go back to my store and do my business there. I then drive an hour and a half back to my home store that is closer to me that my grandmother and they told me that the insurance is OPTIONAL, and it just sounded like he was trying to make more money off of me. Completely disappointed with the service I have. I was promised a trade in value for my phone without a contract. When I tried to leave ATT because the service isn't great and I'm paying over double the amount I had with my previous carrier, I was told I couldn't leave until the 36 month contract ran out so or I could pay almost $800 to get it unlocked. I had 3 kids in the store when I had them set this up and I relied on the sales associate to be upfront and honest. When I called in to speak with a district manager multiple times, they told me she didn't want to take my calls. When I did finally get on the phone with her about a month later, she told me she'd talk to her boss and get back to me. The sales representatives don't have the proper training and once you sign the written contract, the verbal agreement goes out the window. PLEASE READ THE PAPERS BEFORE YOU SIGN. ATT WILL NOT COMPENSATE FOR THE EMPLOYEES LACK OF TRAINING. THEY SWINDLE YOU INTO IT AND DONT ALLOW YOU TO GET OUT! I EVEN OFFERED TO TAKE MY OLD PHONE BACK OR ONE LIKE IT! THEY SAID NO! read more
