My previous review was 3.5 years ago and was also 2 stars. Back then, I visited this AT&T store to pay in full for a new iPhone 11, and I was able to do so with some difficulty. During my recent visit, however, I learned that this store no longer sells cell phones unless you sign up for a *payment plan.* As soon as my husband and I entered the store, an employee greeted us and told us that he could assist us after he served other customers. Another employee asked us what we wanted, and we replied that we wanted to purchase an iPhone 14 Pro. He asked about the number of gigabytes and the color. He confirmed that he had the phone in stock, but we needed to wait until he served other customers. After roughly 40 minutes, a third employee approached us. We told him that we wanted to buy the iPhone 14 Pro. He said that the store has a policy that they do not sell phones unless the customers finance the phones. We replied that we had previously paid for a phone here in full, and he replied that we could no longer do so. The employee's tone of voice could have been more professional, and we would have appreciated if the first two employees had told us that they do not allow customers to outright buy phones. My husband and I wasted a lot of time in this AT&T store, but at least the employee advised us that we could buy a phone at the Apple store at the nearby mall. read more

BEWARE: This store is running a scam! They will sign you up for Protect Advantage and Next Up without your consent. I asked for a paper printout bill in the store, and the sales associate covered this up with a black marker!!! They were obviously trying to sneak in these additional monthly charges without me realizing!!! (You can't even remove Next Up from your account for 14 days after signing up, the perfect amount of time for you to forget.) Furthermore, they intentionally didn't tell me I needed to upgrade my phone plan to get the phone trade-in deal. They told me to take my old phone home to "make sure everything transfers okay to the new phone." When I returned a couple of days later to trade in my old phone, they told me I'd have to upgrade my plan to a more expensive one to do the trade in. I imagine they do this to make sure people don't opt to keep their much cheaper old plan and just buy the new phone as opposed to upgrading the plan, which they likely have an incentive to do. Maybe they also think some people will forget to bring their old phone back or not understand how the deal works. The manager didn't tell me about the upgrade options and signed me up with a more expensive option with all of these features I don't need without my consent! Good thing I realized this when I got home! DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!!! read more

I would highly recommend this location the team is very knowledgeable and professional, Steve and Charles was able to have me out the location under 30 mins transfer included all while setting me up with new TV service that cut my old costs in half. Love this location wouldn't recommend any other store. read more

I dont leave bad reviews unnecessarily. I dont even write reviews unless service was either phenomenal or so atrociously bad that I feel I'd be doing a public disservice by not writing a review. This is the latter. First off, I came to the McKnight Road location because I was so dissatisfied with the complete lack of service I received at the Ross Park Mall store. I walked into the McKnight Road store on a Sunday, right at noon. There were 2 employees working at the time, and 1 customer in the store. Youd think that the available employee might greet me. No. So I walked up to the counter where the employee was sitting, on Instagram. I asked if she was able to give me a breakdown on how much it would cost for me to buy 2 IPhone XS's with unlimited data. I was told to give her a minute as she needed to finish up her last sale. I said OK to be nice instead of pointing out that she was surfing social media. I walked around to browse the store while I waited. She stayed seated "doing her thing" for another 5 minutes. I approached her again and asked if she needed more time (still on Instagram,dropping some thrifty DMs now) The employee then told me that she was waiting on her manager (the other Male employee working) in order to give.me the best possible deal. I asked if she could give me a ballpark as I'd just like to get an idea at least and if the pricing was decent I'd take the phones right now. I got NO answer. Not even an OK, or Sure. Just a bitchy AT&T rep who was annoyed I was there asking her to do her job on a Sunday. read more

At & t billing process at these hard times are not accommodating they say different things and are not very clear and are not user-friendly when it comes to working with their clients they usually are very good in customer service however at this time , they are not considerable of this current pandemic and their clients who have been faithful with them for many years I I consider them as one of the most inconsiderate mobile services and I don't recommend anyone to line up with AT&T read more

While the initial error started with another store - the compounding transgression reached its precipice at the McKnight road location. Normally I do not do negative feedbacks since there's enough Debby Downers out there - however this situation has elevated to the level of incensing me. With that background story - still unopened I planned on exchanging it today - however they are accessing a restocking fee for the iPad Air 2. The package is unopened and exactly how I received it. Joe went on about how his store was going to be out money, and how they can't sell the iPad no matter what. He went as far as basically accusing me of lying. He brought out other packages showing the wrapping and suggested that I wrapped the package myself. With disgust - I left the store. While I appreciate that they went out of their way to get me an iPad mini 3 - 64 gb today - the way I was treated is unacceptable. John was wise and kind and I was massively patient seeing that I was on the phone with AT&T for an hour (57minutes to be exact) - and had to return to the store multiple times to get fixed. The language and conversation about store losses and ability to resale and packaging in my opinion is inappropriate and rude - especially if you're challenging your clients honor. Background: I broke my iPad and had a speech and I was looking to purchase a iPad mini 3 - 64 gb quickly since that's what I previously had - I was in a significant rush since I was about to miss a flight to the speech. Upon getting on the plane I recognized that it was the incorrect iPad. Never opened it, or used it, went to an AT&T location in my destination however they could not get the iPad I wished for by my speech (prompter is custom made for an iPad mini). read more

Worst sales experience ever. I have been having issues with my ATT phone to the point of having to contact ATT office if the president. The office of the president while working with me told me I was going to need new SIM cards and to go to a local store and they could provide new SIM cards. I walked in talk to the first sales person told them what I was their for and they initially said no problem we will get you taken care of 4 minutes in and he says he needs a manager. He gets the manager who them proceeds to tell me they can't help me and in no uncertain terms won't help me. I told them I was working with the office of the president and the manager told me she didn't care if I was working with the president she wasn't going to help me. I work in the service industry and manage multiple people and if I had one of my employees talk to a customer that way they would be fired and out the door before the customer could leave. Most worthless ATT store I have ever seen would give a negative star if I could and it would be a negative 10 stars I wouldn't go back to this store for anything but to see that manager fired and kicked out the door. They were a complete waste of time. Find another store any other store!!!!! read more

This store is awesome! Staff was very friendly and helpful on getting me exactly what I wanted from direct tv, security system and even a phone case for my mom. Would highly recommend them to anyone!! read more
