I forgot this place existed, and I forgot how much I like office supply stores. I needed a new weekly planning calendar, and the walmart next to my gym didn't have any. The associate said to try Office Depot, so I did, and they had what I needed. Hard to believe that office supply stores were often exciting places to visit, with new technology, stuff on sale, and whatnot. I guess the thrill of the 2000s tech boom has waned. Now they look like this - slightly drab affairs, with too many staff trying too hard to help. I was offered 2% off to sign up for rewards which I turned down (is my personal information worth so little), but they had the single laser toner cartridge I needed within a many many mile range, so at least there was that. Probably not in a hurry to return - anyway, Staples down the street does same day delivery on supplies. read more

this is specific to Chris V. I was totally in a pickle thanks to fedex, and I came in last minute with a needing of some nice prints asap for my business. Chris was incredibly patient and kind to help me. He helped me scale down the prints and decide what to do so that it would turn out. I was amazed with his kindness even though he had to stay late. I will be so grateful for his service and his kindness. My boyfriend and I believe this man is worthy of a bonus or something more than just a high five. First Experience dealing with Office Depot and I would recommend them to everyone, Both Chris and Christopher in Printing were extremely knowledgeable and patient with a complicated print job. They made suggestions on how I can make my print jobs better. The work was done quickly, the quality was excellent. I have dealt with other big box office supply stores and their staff always fell short. I would recommend Chris and Christopher and the Bethel Park Office Depot to everyone who has something that needs quality printing at a fair price, Even during busy back to school shopping season they took the extra time for their customers. Office Depot is lucky to have two talented employees like Chris and Christopher, They deserve a raise. Went here looking for a pastel lined paper that I had bought during school season, turns out they don't carry it and it's only seasonal, very disappointing, and on top of that the cashier took the person behind me because I was fumbling with my wallet. read more

It does get busy, there have been glitches - none of that has to do with the personnel. Most of my needs are met at the printing section. Some times you have to wait. So what? You will get the same attention when it's your turn. Maybe Corporate might update or get more than one of each type printer, laminator, photo-transfer machines. Maybe Corporate might train more employees to use such machines. Those who do work there know what they're doing, know it may take time and show you the first print out to see if it's pleasing to you and them. That kind of commitment is hard to find, especially in a national chain. read more

Terrible place. They sold a defective toner cartridge for $22 and wouldn't take it back. It worked the first few times we used it. We don't print things a lot. The next time we tried to use it, the printer read it was empty. But more than a month had passed and the cash register "wouldn't let the clerk return it." Apparently, Office Depot is governed solely by a cash register. Must be a weird corporation to work for under those circumstances. Your better off using the home office section at WALMART. At least they make it easy to return defective merchandise. read more

Avoid this store as if it were the site of the zombie uprising. Seriously, the printing department is way over priced and always "broken down," or whatever excuse they want to come up with to not give you your print order on time, and they refuse to stock up to date tech in their sales area. It's like they are stuck in 3-4 years ago's technology. And forget about asking advice on anything. Go to staples. read more

Initially I dreaded a stop here because I was unfamiliar with the store and in a time crunch. I was greeted at the door and the salesperson walked me through the store to fill my list. What would've taken me 45 minutes alone took 15 with a helper! I'll definitely return. read more
