The day they showed up for the install, they told me they measured wrong and now the pool would need to be put in horizontally instead of vertically or else when it rained water would go into our home. I had to make a decision on the spot, with the pool waiting to be installed out in the street. I should have said to take it away in retrospect but after waiting months for the pool I just wanted to get it done. Once the pool was finally installed it looked great, but by next year all of the cement around the pool began changing color to a stained yellow. When I asked them to come take a look, a few of them came by individually and just stood their staring at the messed up cement dumbfounded. I got tired of them doing nothing and they became argumentative and I just gave up on them. I've waited over five years to post this review and I'm still so annoyed with them and our cement still looks terrible. They'll try to say the cement wasn't their fault but they are the ones who contracted this cement person and they never bothered to even attempt to resolve the issue. We were new to the neighborhood and they seemed like the place to go for local pool business but I warn everyone now stay away.

I have bought wood from many locations for 30 years so when it was delivered(I was not home and prepaid $300 plus $79 for delivery) I saw that it wasn't close to a cord. I stacked it and carefully measured it so I know it was short. I'm not trying to cheat anyone. I went today to state my case and was told my wood was prepared like everyone else so it should have been correct. I was told that I may have stacked it too tight. Wood sits on top of the next piece and so on. It stacks itself so you can't stack it too tight. I was told he was not going to argue with me. He said they would give me extra on the next order. Are you kidding me? Bottom line is I received no satisfaction. Also there was a huge amount of waste and small stumps some as small as six inches. If you want a good wood count and good customer service I would go elsewhere.

I have always had a difficult time starting this saw and had that problem since day one- not uncommon for Stihl chainsaws. I left a $50 deposit and after 3 weeks I was told the saw was not worth fixing. I picked up the saw the following day and asked if maybe PART of the $50 could be used toward another saw, Bob Potter the owner was extremely arrogant and told me flat out NO, the $50 was to check the saw. I asked since I was a long time customer of over 40 years and I have bought two blowers, two mowers, 2 chainsaws and garden supplies every year that he give me a break on another saw, his reply was the price marked - MSRP is the price, he then turned his back and walked away. In addition, my children went to school with his kids and visited each other's homes. I attempted to explain while he was walking away that I would be selling my home in the very near future and I just need to remove some downed trees. One would think a little goodwill on his part since I proved customer loyalty. I walked out and will never be back. I only wish that I knew his arrogance before I spent thousands of dollars in prior sales. I wouldn't give this business the time of day. There are too many businesses that treat their loyal customers with respect. STAY AWAY from this greedy ungrateful business...Potter & GREEDY Sons. After being treated very rudely a week earlier by the unfriendly cashier when my husband tried returning a purchase with a rebate receipt ( it's exactly like a regular receipt except missing the bar code) and being told he couldn't without the regular receipt, my husband was furious! We were only expecting store credit of course but even that seemed impossible. As a last resort he contacted the Bed bath Beyond customer service phone number who in turn forwarded him to the general / regional manager she was finally able to get the issue resolved. She agreed to allow us to return the item for store credit. So we went back to the store the following week and asked for the store manager Jimmy who was very apologetic for the return troubles and quickly issued us a store credit. In the end we used the credit to buy another item that better suited us and we thanked him and confirmed we would be repeat customer. Thank you bed bath Beyond & Jimmy
