It's best to shop here at the beginning of each season to get the most that the store has to offer. I'm otherwise happy with my purchases and the customer service is on point. Products are ample with good selections. Customers tend to wreck the displays and there's not enough floor staff to pick up and make the store neat and orderly again until after store hours. The Stockbridge, GA store is completely incompetent in fulfilling online orders. My orders were "processing" for two days, tried to call the store but the voice mailbox has not been set up. Drove to the store only to be informed that they don't have enough staff to handle both online orders and in-store customers and that my items were now out of stock. Why are they taking online orders if they know they have no intention of filling them? This doesn't even need to be an option for this store. Had I known, I would have secured my items from another store. Horrible processing, even worse customer service and I will no longer be doing business with At Home. read more

At Home is great for home decor, whether it be holiday or any day. They offer isles upon isles of holiday decor at good prices. You can anything from paintings to kitchenware here. The Knick knacks along the check out area always get me and the old school candy. We generally stop by the day after Christmas and everything is always on sale for 50% off. 25 items all smaller no big purchases and it cost 450 bucks. Can you say overpriced. Also the cashier forgot to hand me two of my bags. So I get home and have to drive all the way back. She was nice enough and I forgave the mix up. I know things happen. However then I get home put the room together and notice still one item missing. So I drive back again they can't find it anywhere. So I just gave up and asked for a refund. The women at the register is so pleasant it makes it hard to be upset but I really am at this point. THREE hours in the car because of their carelessness. The store is a mess and also don't bother calling. The phone says press 5 for customer service I did and it says "this voicemail box has not been set up yet." Clever. I mentioned this to one of the supervisors and she said oh yeah. no apology no empathy. That is ridiculous. Don't think I will be returning at least not to this location anytime soon. read more

Store was poorly staffed with 2 people working , I walked around for 30 minutes searching for a store associate and could not get any help in the rug section also it is horrifically unorganized on some of the rugs you cant find prices and lengths ! Theres only one person working on cashier ! I am a frequent shopper of the at home store in Douglasville its more organized transparent but and decided to stop in the Stockbridge Location because I was passing through the Stockbridge area ! This was my first trip to the Stockbridge Garden Ridge and I was surprised by the overall disparity between the Garden Ridge stores in the Atlanta area. I have visited other stores, the Lithonia location most recently, and the Stockbridge store was much better across the board. All the stores carry very similar inventories (I would say that there is at least a 95% match) but Stockbridge was organized, well stocked, and the layout was more conducive to finding what I needed. If you have never been to a Garden Ridge before, try going to the Stockbridge store first. It is a good way to kill a few hours and you might be surprised at the items they carry (and the low prices they carry them at). My new Garden Ridge is Stockbridge - well worth the drive! read more

Bought 2 decorative pillows in September. Got them home and realized the color is all wrong. Intended to exchange the pillows but ended up in the hospital. By the time I was able to get back to the store to exchange the receipt had expired one day earlier. Same pillows still being sold at the same price - Garden Ridge refused to exchange. - You idiots threw away a 15 year faithful customer over $15 bucks and a 24 hr technicality. No big loss to me. The store is well organized and has a seasonal section at the front of the store. We usually walk around the perimeter every now and then to try and get a few ideas for decorating the house. Most of their decor is a little too kitschy for me, but on occasion, you'll find a gem that works well with your particular taste. We hit up the seasonal stuff last, which is usually what we went there for in the first place. Head there this Christmas and see if you can find a few good items. I tried to call the store yesterday to see if they carry large clay pots. I know most of their stuff is cheap plastic crap, but I thought I would give it a shot. There is no way to get an actual employee on the phone. Everytime you hit a selection, it just tells you that you have to come into the store and they don't take phone calls. What is the point in having a phone number if you're not willing to speak to customers? I'll take my business elsewhere. read more
