Had what I thought was a coolant leak on my 2019 Duramax. Turned out that it was a transmission cooler. Front desk did a great job keeping me informed on the repair and I appreciate the straight forward fix on my truck. Took an extra day to get the vehicle back which wasn't ideal, but I know parts can take a little bit to arrive so no big deal. They did a great job and I'm glad I don't have to worry about my truck overheating or having problems. I'd recommend them to anyone in need of repairs. read more

I would give them ZERO stars if I could, they are scammers and will take advantage of you if they can. I had my car in there 3 times, each time I got car back there was an additional problem. After spending $2000 in repairs I too my car somewhere else after they said I needed a new head gasket which is $2000, when I brought it into the new place I was told it was a leaky water pump, which only would cost $455 and that my head gasket was FINE! Was a very quick job. Thats about the only good think I can say. 2-3 hours of labor. Charged me $170 to cut the wire on my parking brake. Amongst other over overpriced charges like over $200 for cv joints eventually totaling to $1600. I got my car back with the abs light and check engine light still on. read more

The guy with the mustache behind the desk acts like you are annoying him by bringing them your car to work on. First time I brought my car in they charged me $20 to tell me what was wrong. I scheduled an appointment for three days later. They charged me $70 labor for less than 20 minutes work + the price of part. Work was done fine except some grease on inside of my car. A woman came while I was there and mustached gentleman was so excited and helpful to her. Pretty obvious how he works. read more

I live in south Minneapolis and compute to Elk River a couple times a week. This week while I was driving up, my car started stalling every time I stopped at an intersection and my check engine light came on. I made it to work and asked a couple of peers about a trustworthy place I could take my car to have it looked at. AT's came up quickly as a recommendation. I called the office and they said they could get me in within 15 minutes. I drive over and they quickly (within 15 minutes) were able to have a technician pull my car in, read the multiple error codes, and made a recommendation. They didn't have the part on hand, but could get it quickly and do the repair the same day. I asked if I was pushing someone else's work out, and Tim stated I happened to be lucky because usually they had many more cars in the shop which seemed accurate by the sheer number of customers coming and going while I was there. I was going to call a coworker to come get me, but Tammy happily offered to drive me back to work -- all the way on the other side of town. A couple of hours later, my car was repaired. Three days later, everything is working like it should. I really appreciated how friendly, accommodating and thorough the team was at AT Automotive. My car runs great and I had THE BEST service experience ever. read more

Luckily I actually never got to bring my car in, talk to Tim he was writing a list to go over with me for 3 3 weeks. Told me to bring my car in a week ago and has yet to even return my call. I have called so many times I found myself saying sorry to bother u. Ask what are we gonna do larry says talk to Tim who is never there, asked can he just have tim call me he told me no he's to busy. Terrible place. Do not go there! Brought my car in because it was overheating. Tim said it was a head gasket for $1500. He said that he wanted to look into it some more. Next he called back and said it would be $3600 to repair or he recommended putting in a used motor for $4100. I checked around with other shops and was told that was highly unusual. So I picked up the car and took it to a different shop. It was the radiator and the cost was 750 for parts and labor. Quite a difference in price. Tim is a total scammer. He also tried to charge me $250 for doing nothing. He claimed he had to replace the gasket cover but would not show us the old one. Do Not Go There! read more

I am so happy I found AT Repair! I am from out of town and was in Elk River for a swim meet. On Saturday morning my engine light came on and engine was running rough. I pulled in to see if they could take a look, although they were very busy they said they could fit me in. After a diagnosis they found I had a bad coil and the part couldn't be delivered until later that afternoon. Even though they closed at noon they stayed to fix it. To top it off they gave me ride back to my hotel and they delivered the car to me after it was done! Talk about great customer service and FAR exceeding my expectations as a customer! If I lived in the area, AT would be my first and only choice for all my car repairs. Can't thank them enough for the great service! read more
