It came with fries or bread and I went for fries. The fries were nice and crispy - nice flavour. (There was a sign in the restaurant that the mussels/oysters are from Shetland & Anglesey). Service was attentive. We arrived pretty early and we were the only people there but by the time we left, there was about 4 other tables occupied. Its located road the corner from the busier Chester streets - which had lots of people walking around, eating in the numerous eateries - so Moules A Go Go may not get as much passing trade, which is a shame.

A beautiful large piece of flaky haddock so lightly fried and it had an audible cracking sound when I put my fork to it. The food is pretty good, but not as good as my little La Tasca... similar style tapas but it just doesn't have the romanticism about it. I'd recommend the Lebanese chicken - it's pretty yum.

Arriving fairly late, we made it just in time for last orders of food. I tried the king prawns a la plancha (grilled on a metal plate), chicken wings pimenton and the patatas bravas. All of which were nothing short of cooked to perfection divine. The only downside to this place is it's only around 50 covers. But as I've mentioned before it wouldn't be as intimate a venue if it was any bigger. I'm gonna be honest and say I am definitely coming back here again and again everytime I'm in Chester. Having spoken to the staff at the end I was also told the proprieters are thinking of opening a Porta. I for one cannot wait.
