Even though he's teaching the kids discipline, taekwondo forms and techniques, he's also making everyone laugh including the parents watching. Growing up, my brother use to go to taekwondo as a kid and I remember there were no seating for bystanders. This is a huge pro at Korea Taekwondo because they have a large seating capacity for parents and other onlookers. It's nice to see what my son is learning in class and to get to know the curriculum they teach and instill. The owner Master Lim is a kind and very respectful role model to these kids. I appreciate his life lessons that he tries to instill to everyone. The facility has great resources for the kids such as sparring items and practice gear that they use in classes. We can come to class up to 3x a week and we like how short the classe are - 50 minutes. We also like how achievable the next belt is. If they do learn and perfect their craft, they can achieve their next color belt in 2 months. All in all, we've had a very pleasant experience here.

When I met with her the first time, she demeaned and belittled me all because I was quiet and shy; I wasn't the talkative type, and initially I wanted to join her class to break out of my shyness. However, Master Gina told me, at the time I was fourteen, that my eyes had dark circles probably because I look/stare at the computer all day; that I probably hide in my room away from company and people, and I probably starve myself too. Little did she know that I do none of those things and the fact that she even assumed that I did from my appearance is disgusting and disgraceful, especially from someone who prides herself in honor and discipline--something which this "instructor" clearly lacks. She was a bully. I'm now in my twenties and reflecting back on that, that is NEVER the way to treat a child. She should never be allowed to work with children. She also insisted that I call her "Master" even though I was just seeing the program; I was never her student and would never thankfully become her student. This mcdojo is a predominate kids school that don't look certified for the belt they currently have. Very unorganized as well. Sparring days are a toss up you don't know when it will be. If you go to this school your process of being a good fighter will be stagnant. Theirs no air conditioning your going to sweat while you have kids over your shoulder saying that person is so sweaty. Black belts don't fight like black belts as well. It's a joke if your a kid you can go due to how cheap this school is. 90 dollars.
