I truly understand that things have changed during covid! I when from a single person 160to 275 for taxes during A pandemic tell me about bank fees which I never had to pay! Bit said I did before I look into bank and paper work never had it on it. Just to get extra money out of you they add on extra fees sad part is it's a pandemic and people don't have money not to add I did my tax remote I been coming here 5 years off and on due to their high fees. Very expensive. They ask for 1,000 for both personal and business taxes. They messed up mine for 2 consecutive years. Biggest mistake ever to choose them! Once you got problems with the IRS, they will never help you out! When you call them, the front desk will just put you on hold over and over again or takes a message but no one will ever call you back! They're very unfriendly and sarcastic. They just leave you alone to settle the mess they put you into...worst experience. Never again!!! read more

They moved! It used to be close to marshall but now its opposite side by tj maxx... Granted anywhere parking is a pain here... Im here today to do my taxes... Was introduced by a friend to come here initially... Now i just come here myself and being another friend.. Mr Alvarez and his team are great!!! Granted something you need to know before coming here... Be patient there is a wait... There is a wait for great things too most of the time i plan to be here at least three hours ore more... But remember there is a great amount of shopping food and grocery around the area. If you are waiting for Mr Alvarez its worth it... And call ahead, to ask when he will be in he usually doesn't come in till afternoon... Pending when during the day the year and the week you will have to wait longer sometimes... I drove from central nj just to get my taxes here... Its mostly Spanish speaking but the ladies at the desk are really nice also... And its a great location even if there is a wait. As a first time client I was not happy with what they did. I had my state and federal electronically filed. I waited 3 weeks and checked the IRS website for the date of my refund because I normally receive it in 7-15 days but this time it was taking usually long. The IRS website keep saying no information regarding my return was found. I went back to ATAX to find out they never even sent my tax returns (both state and federal) at all. It was sitting in their computer system for weeks. The worst part is the supervisor couldn't even give me an explanation as to why the preparer didn't even bother to send it. Had I not stayed on top of it they would have never submitted my returns to the IRS or State. I've always done my taxes myself as they are simple returns but I decided to try them out since my fiancé has been going to them for years. After this debacle I'm debating as to whether I want to return to them next season. A simple explanation would have been nice but the supervisor gave me none. Overall not a very good first impression of your service to a first time client. read more
