The class size was perfect for this activity, allowing for the teacher to adequately share instructions, demonstrate the process, and work one-on-one with students as needed. The instructions were organized on a print out with all the materials and supplies needed to replicate the activity at home and referenced during the instruction portion of the class. The materials for the class were well-maintained and organized at each place setting for each student. I've taken other art classes elsewhere and I felt like this was a step above with regard to organization, instruction, and take away materials. I loved the experience so much that I'm going to take another class in October, and this time I'm bringing a friend! In addition to the art classes and studio, Copper Cat also has a delightful little art/gift shop with items made from the artists in studio. Most are in the front shop, but some pieces are scattered throughout. Take your time looking at all the wonderful pieces... so many great art gems for sale at very affordable prices. You pick out the piece you want and once finished, you pay for everything at the end! It looks like each piece takes about a week to process. You're told they will not contact you when your piece is ready unless there is something wrong. You are able to go in and pick it up whenever that day Pick up was very easy. No one called me back so I had my suspicions as I headed over that maybe the class would be a bust. There's a sign on the door to knock and/or call...i did both, to no avail. Left another message. I waited for like 15 minutes (I really wanted to make the mosaic!!) and then left. A week later, I am still left wondering. Groupon refunded me so that part worked out but I would have been extra mad if I were trying to get my money back from this business that ghosted me. We got samples about a year ago, and we decided to call her and talk with her about her options and pricing. She wasn't available when I called, but the nice young lady who answered gave us a quick rundown. Cool, no problem. It was helpful. She even took down my number and said Jessica would call us back with more information. To her point, she did. She was, as far as I could tell, very nice and helpful. We discussed a few things about customization, and she said that would be no problem. I said great. She then said she would need to reach out to someone she knew about the customization, and she would call me back by the middle of the following week. That conversation was on 7/31/2026. She said if I didn't hear from Her by the middle of that week. To call her back. I gave her that entire week because I understand she has a business and can get busy. I'm not her only potential client. Makes sense. So I called on 8/10/2026. Which was a Monday. But they were closed on that day. Which is fine. No big deal. I then called on 8/11/2026 which was Tuesday, twice. I left a message. No response or call back. Maybe she didn't want to work with my husband and me. That's okay. The product she makes seems very appealing and nice. It was the best one we saw from the other business we had checked out. But I guess we will have to go with one of them since they haven't reached back out and won't answer the phone. So if you're local, you can swing by and probably, maybe, have a good experience. But we didn't. Just be careful. I wished it worked out because we really want to work with her. But oh well.

Most of my larger pastel paintings are framed here, and I really love it that I can just walk in and everyone knows how exactly I want it framed. The quality of the job is superb, and the cost is reasonable. I'm so thankful for their work. For the art supply, even if they don't have what you need, they may be able to get it for you. I've ordered my big easel through NV Fine Arts, and it saved me a lot of time and money. Staff is kind and helpful. The art exhibits they put on are great and fun, giving local artists some opportunities to show. It's all over wonderful!

Customer service is always friendly and patient. My one and only complaint is that the frame shop is not affordable for the average person. Yes, custom framing is generally expensive, but it feels completely out of reach now.
