Totally worth the bus trip from UNL out here. TL;DR Very quick, & very cheap! Details: The lady who took care of me gave me clear & easy to follow directions as she moved from my brows to my lips. I did sit on the sofa for a few minutes while she took care of the two customers before me, but it wasn't a long wait. Oh, & i stopped her for a few seconds at the beginning to just let her know I wanted to keep my brows thick & she confirmed I just wanted to clean up. Was not rude at all. If my brows start try to connect again before I leave, I'll definitely be back. :) (Fyi: $10 brows, $5 upper lip, +tip. Paid in cash)

I popped in yesterday afternoon and had a new woman. As she was working, it was incredibly painful. (As I stated, I am not a first timer- It has never felt like this) When I made a sound of pain or said ouch, she responded with "no, no, no" as a reprimand, not apologetically. Overnight, my brow/lid burned and when I woke up in the morning, it was inflamed and bruised.

However, there is one peculiar thing: when I pay with a credit card and include a 20% tip, she said no, deleted my tip amount, and changes it to 30%. Initially, I assumed it was a misunderstanding, so I let it go. I returned again the second time. Yet, she repeated the same action. The second time, I double-checked with her after she changed my tip amount by asking, "Is this the tip amount you prefer?" to which she affirmed. Although the difference is only a couple of dollars, it's not about the money. Even if she were to increase the price, I would still come back. What's confusing is her manually changing the tip amount for customers, despite them intending to tip 20%. I'm unsure if she does this to everyone or she targets on those who appear weak. Regardless, I'm uncertain of its legality. Thus, if you get your eyebrows done there, be aware of this.

Needless to say, we were both very excited as it was a first for both of us. In scheduling our appointment, I found out that we had to wait almost 6 weeks for it. So much for a celebratory spa day date. Upon arriving, we found parking to be a bit of a challenge, and even locating the building was difficult as the business is located in a small yet charming little house. I must say that the building had tons of potential curb appeal, but sadly was in disarray and had a tiny almost non visible sign. Our appointment was during the holidays, so the cozy little house and front yard could have really been decorated and made to look like the owners of the spa really cared about the business and the complete overall customer experience. Sadly, though, the business looked run down and neglected, not a good first impression. Once entering the spa, it was a bit cluttered, but everyone was extremely nice, professional, and accommodating. Our massages were wonderful, although due to covid, we were in separate rooms and had to wear masks. Neither of which supported our original plans of a relaxing spa date. However, we both enjoyed our massages. The room I was in was beautiful, and the total environment was very relaxing for all the senses. My massage was wonderful, the masseuse was very knowledgeable and respectful. To sum things up, my husband and I loved the people and the service they provided. However, a lot was lost on appearance and branding. The employees seemed to want to make this appointment a "total experience" but forgot that that begins before you ever enter the building and before the massage ever begins.
