I really liked the instructors, and at one point a police officer even came in and taught part of the class. The class was long, but between the instructions and the range shooting the time went quickly. I would highly recommend this class to anyone thinking about getting proper certification for concealed carry.

They took the time to answer questions and made everyone feel comfortable. You can tell they're passionate about what they do and genuinely care about creating a safe, positive environment. My original plan was to try out 2-3 instructors, then decide who I felt was the best fit for me in the sense of training style and personality. After my first session with Ben, my plans changed. It didn't take long to realize he is extremely knowledgable, but more importantly, his process of teaching makes you feel comfortable and speeds up the learning process. I thoroughly enjoy working with him, and am purchasing more sessions to train with him weekly to improve my skills.

I saw their ad for a women's self-defense class and decided to give it a try. I've always wanted…read moreto try Krav so this was the perfect opportunity. It was a two-day class for 2.5 hrs each day. August and John were very welcoming to all the students and, after a short intro, we got to work. There were women of all ages and fitness levels, and all were really getting into it and learning. August introduced the right amount of stress to the training as we progressed and introduced real-world scenarios, which was extremely helpful. When I told a friend of mine (as I was showing off my new bruises :)) that it was 2.5 hours per class, she questioned "Why so long? They should do like 1-hour instruction & practicum, no?" My response was that I felt part of the training was to put you in stress mode and make you fight when tired. Again, real world. We took short water breaks, but everyone was excited to get back on the mat! I travel alone a lot for work and have had been in some situations I couldn't avoid, so I know the skills I learned (and will continue to practice) will be something I can draw on should I need to. Sil wants to share his love of the sport, and has a very Zen approach. I think it'd be great for kids, since it teaches focus, discipline, and responsibility. The owner was so sweet and so helpful with everything. It's something fun to do for a girls night, date night, I will definitely be back to try other fun activities to make. I'm not a super crafty person by nature but I was sure happy home my potion bottle came out and it was just a fun experience .....especially being able to have my bestie there to enjoy the evening. I brought my 7 year old daughter here for a class. My daughter loves to try new art classes and…read moremediums, so we had a mother-daughter day. We we taught by Kate, who was amazing! She was very kind, patient, and helpful. My daughter and I each made our own pieces, working side by side. I was so very impressed how our projects turned out. Often, my daughter gets frustrated, noting that my projects turn out 'better' than her own. I try to explain how age, attention to detail, and the like affect our projects, but she still pouts. Well, this project was so well planned and easy to execute that my daughter's turned our looking fabulous! Later, family members had difficulty determining whom had made which. My daughter and I had such a great time that we are scheduled for another class already! I highly recommend this business, experience and the owner Kate!
