They have scheduled an appointment 5 times and 5 times have not showed up. It had gotten to the point where I had to reach out the day before to confirm they were still going to show up. Then, I had to contact them the day of when they "missed" each appointment and no one showed up. If you try calling the phone number on the website, no one answers, and you cannot leave a voicemail because the "voicemail box is full". This just reiterates how unresponsive and unreliable they are.

I was given Mike Hopper's number from a friend at work who highly recommend Ecohouse for us in early March 2022. I called Mike right away and he was able to drive 45 miles to my house that same afternoon to take a look at everything and go over our options. He looked at and took pictures of our roof, electric panel, meter, and generator. I told him we were looking for a system with 100% offset. He got back with a recommended system for us within a couple of days and we moved forward from there. He has been with us since the beginning to answer questions and make sure things were going well for us throughout this process. Our system was installed and up and running on May 24th 2022. The install process took two days. The crew that showed up to do the install was just absolutely phenomenal. They took their time measuring where everything would go and ended needing to move a couple of panels based on changes I had mentioned with wanting to keep a walkway up to our chimney. They were able to make the changes and the final install looks great. They took extra time to make sure all of the panels lined up perfectly and even had to go back to move three panels over on the bottom row to the right about 3/4 of an inch. The guy installing all of the boxes to tie into the existing grid did a beautiful job. He took his time to bend all of the conduit perfectly and it blends in with the house like it had been there all along. In the end everyone was super great to work with. The walls were stipped to the studs, and there is a full unfinished basement, so it was easy access. Still, i paid him over $9200.00. He did very good mostly, until I asked him to correct the placement of a dishwasher outlet. For a fee he would. I already paid someone else to move the outlets for the range and the microwave, but thought he should do this one with no added cost. Placement of appliance outlets is something any electrician should know...I looked it up and they are all the same. Also, this guy also asks you to give him a tip a on every invoice. I find this very insulting to low income waiters, hairdressers, and others who are traditionally tipped. I also dad to clean up after him. Now I'm wondering if he did everything else okay or if my house is going to burn down. Just read the response. I paid the tile guy about $8000 for a tub sized shower. There are places where the grout is missing, lots of tiles are NOT flush, a hole was put in the aluminum trim, the front of the shower is about an inch out of square, the light fixture in the shower was not fully installed, and there are some chipped tiles. No..not happy, but I paid him. I belive a customer has the right to expect a good job, and the tile was not. Rhododendren Electric did a good job, but their follow through is bad. And he will do everything possible to avert a negative review, which mine is not...just middle of the road. Just downgraded due to his false and slanderous response. Really, he's an okay electrician, but he seems much more concerned about his yelp review than he does about satisfying his customers. And, his response was reprehensible.

HE CALLED ME THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND TOLD ME THAT HE WAS STUCK AT ANOTHER JOB AND COULD NOT MAKE IT. He RESHCEDULED AGAIN for the next thursday and asked me to call him that morning. So i did. AND HE CANCELLED AGAIN, AND I ASKED HIM WHEN HE WOULC BE COMING OUT, AND HE TOLD ME THAT I NEEDED TO GET ANOTHER ELECTRICIAN. THAT WAS "HORRIBLE", DON'T CALL HIM, he didn't show up for me (unless maybe you have a whole house to wire). i would NEVER do that to a client of mine, would you?
