OHHH, what an experience we had with this company! My husband and I were just having a conversation…read moreabout " REMEMBER WHEN Apex ...." I did a review on their company page that they took down. I did another review on another site, that they had four people do reviews immediately following mine, bragging about what a terrific job they had done for them., on their homes, etc. Funny thing was, two of the people were owners, one was their secretary, and another was the brother to one of the owners. lol! Anyways, about 4 years ago, we had Apex repair a roof, complete some attic venting, repair and replace damaged drywall, and a few other misc. jobs, following a terrible storm. A job that was supposed to take two weeks, turned into nearly 4 months! People would not show up to do the work, they had to reorder items, blah blah blah. I told "Joe" that if he did not have this job completed by a specified date, I would be certain to express our terrible discontent with his company, publicly... He would not return calls, texts, emails, etc. So, on a Thursday, when he failed to return any calls or messages, I left a message with his secretary and his voicemail, assuring him that if he had not made contact with me by 5pm,the following day, that I would follow through and make good on my threat. Friday, I called and messaged, yet again, no response. At 5 pm, I started writing the nasty truth of reviews on several sites. I then screen shotted them and sent them to his phone. Interestingly, he called me within minutes! He told me that his phone had not been working and that was why he hadn't responded sooner. He was very angry with me, lecturing me as to how I was taking food from his employees mouths, by doing such reviews. He insisted that I take them all down. I responded, " I will remove them when you complete the job that you were paid for, three months ago!" The jobs were eventually completed, after such. I would never want to go through that nightmare, again!!!!
