I joined AFBBC back in April 2016 with the intention of only doing a short, 4-week program. However, I loved the classes and coaches so much that I signed a full-year membership. The classes are high intensity, but only last 30 minutes! And somehow the coaches make the exercises fun. There is a lot of variety, so every single workout is different and challenging. I have grown so much stronger and much more confident. I've shed almost 20 pounds and lots of inches, and I'm fitting in clothes that I never thought I'd get back into. It is such a good feeling. The coaches are always there to give you that extra push, to ensure you're using proper form, to suggest modifications if needed, and to offer advice and nutrition counseling too. The clients are all supportive of one another - it really is like a family. No judgment! Our group is also involved with helping a different local charity each month. It really is a great group to be a part of. I joined a gym a long time ago, and I never went once! Since I've joined AFBBC, I feel terrible if I miss just one day. Athens Fit Body Bootcamp has completely changed my life! Before joining, I was overweight, tired all the time, extremely out of shape, and made terrible food choices. I was self conscious and nervous about beginning this journey. However, I LOVED that no one judged me when I joined. Everyone there is extremely supportive no matter what! In less than three months, I've lost 20 pounds and several inches. I went from weighing 155 pounds at the beginning of September to 134 pounds as of now. I have never experienced such a welcoming team of Coaches. They're all friendly and approachable but will ensure that you leave out of there having known that you attended Athens FBBC! I have never received one-on-one nutritional meal planning/meal prep/recipes but at Athens FBBC I have. It's weird, they make we sweat (which never happened before now), they work every muscle in my body, every workout challenges me BUT it's like I'm addicted - I can't stop - I just keep coming back for more...Thanks Athens FBBC for getting me back on track with my health!!! Been four times, each in conjunction with my autistic son's E(xtra) S(pecial) P(eople) exercise program, which visits accommodating local gyms each Thursday for a modified (for special needs students') workout class. Staff is very accepting of each student's abilities (or lack thereof). Very knowledgeable, very motivating, very encouraging. My son just has had such great times and good reasonable workouts. I've been out quite a bit because of knee surgery but each time I return to work out, I feel a sense of inclusion. They are very supportive and hold us accountable. Some of us need that!
