I got a regular meat pie ($2.85), with spices but no lemon, and it was pretty good. The spices adds flavour, not really heat so don't shy away if you don't like hot spicy foods. I don't like added lemon juice because I find it makes the pie too sour, but most people add both lemon and spices. The pies have a generous amount of meat and the pastry isn't too thick, which is how I like it. It was crispy on the outside, but still a bit chewy on the inside. Definitely a solid Lebanese meat pie. Staff were nice. And I liked how they have a sink there and I saw staff washing their hands before preparing my food. Many Middle Eastern meat pie bakeries have their listed prices inclusive of taxes, but not here, their prices are before taxes. However, they do take plastic as well as cash, unlike some other places that only take cash (like Aladdin's) or only take plastic (like Bibi's). It's in a strip mall, so plenty of free parking in the strip mall parking lot.

I finally went there recently and ordered some meat pies ($2 each) and meat and cheese pies ($2.75 each). Both types of pies were great, but I liked the meat and cheese one the most. The cheese was so chewy, and slightly squeaky. It reminded me of cheese curds. The meat was well seasoned and wasn't too sour or too salty like at some places. The dough was thin and slightly crispy, not doughy. I like thin and crispy, so I liked the dough. The meat had a slight smokey flavour to it, but not as much as Aladdin's. I compare most meat pies to Aladdin's because they are my favourite, but Al Noor is a very very close second. They are both very similar. Al Noor's has more meat and cheese but Aladdin's has more of that smokey flavour that I like. The bakery has some seats so you can eat your food there. They also sell some sweets that are prepackaged (not baked there). They also sell beverages. I didn't like the fact that the staff did not wear gloves while they prepared my food. Nor did I see them washing their hands at any point. The man preparing my food was actually holding his phone with one hand (and watching a video on it) and preparing my food with this other hand (and occasionally touching his phone with the food preparing hand). Minus 1 star for (lack of) sanitation. If staff wore gloves, this place would get 5 stars from me. Staff are nice enough. The place is bigger than I expected. It's in a strip mall on Wylie just off Carling (you can see the bakery from Carling). There is a small parking lot in front, so there is free parking but it's limited. I like that you can specify meat doneness, since I like my lamb medium rare. The platter comes with rice, potatoes, Greek salad, tzatziki sauce and pita bread. I always order an additional tzatziki sauce and another pita bread because they're very good and make perfect leftovers for lunch the next day. Something also worth mentioning is that Cozmos has a good online ordering system that makes it super easy to order ahead and pick up at a specific time. I recommend ordering online to save the time you would otherwise spend waiting after ordering in person, as they are often pretty busy.
