Walked about 6 blocks to location from Mercado Pino Suarez. Was also closed and padlocked. Called phone numbers and no one answered. Don't waste your time. El Centro location is off the beaten path in a weird, not so great neighborhood. If you're staying at Playa Mazatlan or Las Flores, walk to Expression Massage instead. read more

Really enjoyed ourselves with a Swedish massage and facial combo. Wish we had more time to try another treatment but we needed to get back on our ship. Saw this place walking by and decided to go in. Nice and clean place that is cute and well maintained. The young Mexican guy that helped us out was nice and helpful. Our massage therapist were the same lady's that did our facials. ( basic simple facials) I do wish they had more complex facials but I do understand why they do not. The two lady's they we had were wonderful. The prices are good but the massage was mediocre compared to the same price point state side. They start you with this awkward head scratching, I can't stay massage because it's less than a hair salon will do while washing your hair... It's just a very light scratching... and they they most on. The neck rubbing was pretty ok but I felt that they didn't put much effort into it. I decided to try the location in Zona Dorada because it is not so far to travel for me as the one in El Centro. This one is clean and nice. The receptionist and my massage person, Marion, were delightful. The massage was essentially equal to any you get in MZT....it is ok for the price but there is not much variation. ..basically it is fast and Swedish no matter what you request. The facial was quick and miniscule. ..not ike the one I remembered before in El Centro Aroma Spa a few years ago. The big let down was the body scrub...was a 20 min service...a little once over with sugar..I definitely would leave that off your list. At first I was upset ( not at the workers)..but then I realized I really only paid $70 US for everything so I got what I paid for.I am used to Olympus Spa in Washington State..the scrubs there are out of this world so my bar was pretty high. Mostly I think it's a bit deceitful to offer the services like facials and scrubs in addition to massage to bring in tourists when the quality of the latter 2 is sub standard. My 2 star goes to the owner...not to the workers..they get 5 stars...they are just doing what they are told. read more
