I love that we have the option for some really good breakfast tacos for dinner We wished that the menu was a bit better at the a la carte items, such as the ability to get a side of the baba sauce (which is that badass creamy jalapeno salsa) with whatever order you want vs specific items. The menu also didn't have a whole lot of details about each item, like the amount of food it came with (1/2 lb, fajitas for 2, etc) so we totally had to guess. The chicken fajitas were well seasoned and the wood grill flavor was really good but the meat was overcooked, which in all fairness is super common for chicken fajitas. They forgot some minor items we ordered, like the pint of pico and some salsa, but overall the food is what matters most and it was good enough to compensate for the the things that didn't go right. It wasn't a problem for me but I could see myself racing home to meet the delivery. The quality of the food was above most other restaurants that deliver and the price was amazing. I love the fact that the menu changes and they don't try to offer everything everyday. The meal felt homemade - not overly oily or salty. Nevertheless, the first bite provided nothing but disappointment. The gumbo tastes nothing like gumbo--maybe missing file and even missing some parts of the trinity! What gives?
