Easy to store in the fridge and to warm up later. My favorites are the black pepper chicken, the jerk chicken with mashed potatoes, and the Greek meatballs with rice and tzatziki chicken. The chicken quesadilla is tasty, but I thought the green salsa was too spicy for me. The steak and eggs is plentiful and well flavored, with a green side sauce, but I didn't try the side sauce since I don't like to put salsa on my eggs (nicely separated). I've been to every meal prep business in the city and this is the one I refer to all my clients because of the macro friendly options. A lot of places have "healthier" options than typical fast food spots but BeeFit has tons of healthy options that are low in fat with moderate carbs. The sweet potato skillet in my opinion is the best item on the menu hands down. The Turkey chili and salmon with egg whites breakfast dish, Korean beef bowl (add some sriracha you'll thank me later) lol are all on my regular rotations. Some of the other dishes are higher in fats than I can afford so they're for every blue moon but also taste great! I love to eat but I hate when I have to sacrifice flavor and substance when I want to eat healthy. This place has several options to choose from and the meals leave me full and satisfied. I often crave Tex Mex food and I can't resist the urge. The chicken enchilada soup and the chicken enchiladas really help. The enchiladas are not smothered in cheese like the restaurants but we don't need all that! We want our tummies flat and booties poked out in the back. This will help get you there! I have tried a few meal prep services and this place is amongst my favorite based on flavor and options. The portions aren't large, but I didn't come here for large portions if you know what I mean. I may be spoiled, because I typically buy from ProMeals (which is another clean eating meal prep- but with so about 7x more flavor in every meal), but I was VERY surprised at how bland these meals were. Since, this was my first time purchasing food here. I gave this place 4 stars. Why? It is a food prep place where food is already prepared to go, I wanted to try more of the food first versus another choice dish. I will try something else soon, in order to post the 5 stars. I was referred to this company by my boyfriend. When I decided to go with Bee Fit I was so excited to patronize a black-owned business. Well I was let down on my first order. I ordered my meals on the 18/19, scheduled my delivery for the 22nd. Today is the 23rd!! I received a phone call this morning stating that my meals would be delivered this morning. The portion was small and not as fulfilling, but I guess that's the point (portion control). The lady working the register was pretty knowledgeable and friendly and informed me that medical professionals receive a 15% discount with badge in addition to their reward program. As luck would have it I started working about 3 miles away and recently realized that my work schedule wasn't allowing me much time to cook while I was home. Last week I ordered the Shape Up 5 day plan and went to pick it up Monday. There's a variety of food to try, all with labels--and most is pretty good. It's definitely made for a stress free week. I didn't look at the other selections but there aren't any fresh greens or other fresh veggies so I bought a bit of spinach and cucumbers from the grocery store. The hubs has chatted it up with the owner, who is super pleasant and kind. We have had the food delivered before too (using DoorDash). It's really simple- the dishes have been broken down by calories, protein, carb, etc. so you know exactly what you are eating. For those with high blood pressure issues or high cholesterol, the sodium and cholesterol content respectively is clearly marked, allowing health-conscious customers to determine for themselves what they want. Then the dishes can be microwaved or placed in the oven for a few minutes, and then.......Wallah!! You get to pull out a healthy, filling meal that doesn't make you feel guilty afterward. I wanted to love this place because it's local and would be so convenient to pick up meals. I purchased the "Shape Up" meal plan for 5 sets of lunch/dinner so that I could try an assortment of meals. The rosemary chicken was so hard and rubbery (even when microwaved for just one minute) that I couldn't chew it...I ended up eating the veggies and potatoes that came with it and then tossed the chicken. The curry chicken came with soggy skin and I noticed another user mentioned the same thing. This was disappointing to me because chicken dishes are a staple to me when eating clean and both were a dud. I think the regular prices for the meals are a bit steep when compared to other mealprep services especially because the portions are smaller. I normally buy meals that are around 400 calories for $7-10 from local mealpreps or online but the 200 calorie meals from beefitfoods are already set at $8+, so I end up having to eat more meals or snacks during the day to keep full. I do agree that the meals aren't labeled very clearly with no ingredients or heating instructions. This doesn't matter to me as much because I'm not currently tracking macros nor do I have food intolerances but I can see how this poses an issue for many. I think that it's difficult to expect meals with lower calorie content to be really tasty but I do think there are better options out there for healthy meal preps that are satiating. read more

I don't usually write reviews, and I want to say when I came across Bee Fit foods website I was excited. I took a chance and ordered the month plan upfront for the value and to save some $$$. When I first arrived at the store I walked in and immediately noticed that its just coolers lined down the walls. The coolers labeled for seafood and drinks were empty but the breakfast, lunch and dinner were packed. I begin to notice all the debris on the floor pushed up against the wall as if the place hadn't been swept in a week.. I'm starting to get nervous because its half an hour before close and theirs no way they are selling all these meals tonight. They advertise made fresh daily, and clearly this isn't the case unless they are trashing everything at end of day. The man comes from the back and grabs random meals from the coolers and packs it in a bag for me and I'm headed home. I go to open the meals and take a look and they look like they've been frozen... and sure enough the first meal I try (the meatloaf and mac and cheese) you can tell its not fresh. I reached out for a refund but as they post the no refund policy on their website they only offered me store credit. I decided to try a couple more meals and bite the bullet, but come 3 days later I am walking into my house and it SMELLS. Everything had went bad, just so we are clear the ONLY thing in my fridge was Bee Fit foods. I trashed it all and have lost $500. Don't be me, I hope this saves someone else from a terrible experience and some money. read more
