This should have been a private discussion. I was the only customer in the store...there was no need for the saleswoman to have this conversation on speaker. It was bizarre. I kept giving her a look to suggest "pls take your conversation private" but she apparently can't read the room. On my way out I told her "I'm leaving because of the conversation you're having right now." I don't need to listen to political BS while I'm shopping. It's supposed to be a respite from all all.

I had a wonderful experience working with Cecelia (she was absolutely amazing -- kind, patient, and genuinely helpful), but unfortunately, everything else about this experience has been so disappointing. I was told my dress would arrive at my house within a week. I planned everything around that timeline -- fittings, alterations, you name it. A week passed, and I hadn't heard anything. When I reached out to check on it, I found out on my own that my dress was actually backordered indefinitely. No one from Anthropologie bothered to contact me or give me an update. For something as important and emotional as a wedding dress, this kind of lack of communication is just unacceptable. I trusted that I was in good hands, but it really feels like the company dropped the ball completely. The whole process left me feeling stressed, disappointed, and honestly heartbroken. I bought two simply GORGEOUS scarves that were actually priced lower than what I initially expected. A lot of the reviews of this place just do not do it justice! Let's clear it up. Is this boutique "too expensive"? NO! It's only too expensive if you're not familiar with the brands that it carries. These pieces are not overpriced or marked high beyond other retailers. Additionally, I saw at least one brand that's very hard to find in the US. The simple fact that I would be able to try on pieces from that brand without having to buy them up front and pay for shipping from Europe is a huge positive. Is the store "too cramped"? Hardly. It's a small store, but they have a very clean, beautiful layout. I was in there with two staff, a delivery guy, and probably four other shoppers, and I still had plenty room to be off in my own little world. I really enjoyed the ambiance of the store. Are the employees "rude and unfriendly"? Not at all!! My goodness. Quite the opposite. The manager knows us on sight now and treats us like returning Royalty each time she sees us, and it's not just because of the amount of money we spend here either. We had a small - I mean very small issue - with the earrings; she took my cell number, called the manufacturer, worked out a solution and called me back the next day! Now that's service!
