Peak, with Amy and Alyson, are excellent in what they do. Both go over and above any other PT specialists I've ever seen. They both are very knowledgeable and helpful. This is not a chain (which has a tendency to overbook and not take the time needed) and the one on one care is outstanding. This is a fully equipped facility that is also warm and inviting and the women who work and run the facility are exceptionally kind and caring. They also take Medicare which is good as so many of us really need help with our bodies as we age. This is the place I will go from now on for my PT needs. The entire staff from Ashley (manager) to the therapist I work with most often (Steve) are incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. Every employee from the technicians to the other therapists recognize me by name and always come to help me whether I specifically ask for help or not. Steve likes to work with his patients himself and is usually with me the entire time I am working on activities he has planned for me. In that way he is always there to tell me if I am doing something incorrectly or recommending a different way to do the activity (usually harder!). He also has given me a list of activities to work on at home which he wrote up at home on his own time. Thanks to the entire staff at ati in wixom and I highly recommend them to anyone needing pt especially if you have a neuro problem.

Her progress from the day she admitted to Westland Nursing and Rehabilitation center to today is astonishing, I am beyond grateful for everything the staff has done for her. They did not just care for her they took the time to get to know her and make her feel comfortable. They knew her by name and every time I was in to visit several staff members would stop in her room to check in on her and say hello even if they weren't working the floor. She loved Kim the unit manager on her floor she said she always found a way to make everyone smile and brighten their day. The care you receive feels personal and that was really important to me and my family. We are beyond happy with our mothers stay at Westland and because of the excellent care she received we are able to take her home; that's a feeling I cannot even put into words. I was able to schedule my initial assessment with Tri-Rehab right away and then schedule my sessions for the next four weeks according to my availability. They worked with my doctors and kept them informed as well. I was shocked how creative some of the therapy exercises were and I actually continue to use some them well after my therapy is over. Tri-Rehab has therapeutic ultrasound, e-stim therapy, offers manual manipulation, traction, sports therapy and more for young kids, adolescents, middle age and geriatric care. Tri-Rehab even has a special over-60 fitness program as well. I could not ask for better care than the entire team at Tri-Rehab offered me and I was able to observe their care with other patients of all ages as well. Each patient was on their own track with highly individualized programs based on the patient's needs, not just what was easy for the therapist.

I just finished 6 weeks of PT for a pinched nerve in my shoulder that, in addition to causing a lot…read moreof pain, also left me with numbness in my left hand. When I started here I was struggling to sleep since the pain was worse at night and any position I sat in sent pins and needles down my arm to fingertips. Working on my pottery (my current creative outlet) was difficult as I couldn't feel the tips of 2 of my 5 fingers. Makes things kinda tough when you're relying on gentle touch on a wheel. I was exhausted, sad, and stressed. But I'm happy to report that after my time here, I have regained all feeling in my hand, the pain is all but gone, and I only get intermittent tingling down my arm and when I do it's far less intense. Dave and his amazing team implemented a number of techniques including cupping, e-stim, exercises, dry needling, traction, heat, and stretching that all combined to get me back on track. He also provided me with exercises and techniques I could continue at home to make sure I continue to improve and also keep future nerve issues at bay. I could cry I'm so happy with how things turned out. Thank you, Dave for giving me full use of my hand back and for sharing great conversations around music all the while. Also shout out to Anna for being such a joy to communicate with as I was getting set up, maintaining my schedule, etc. In fact, everyone here was so personable and my appointments just flew by each time I went in.
