Unfortunately my newfound health led me to a shoulder injury - torn labrum, tendon damage and arthritis that comes from age. (Dang pickleball!) Dave and Zach went to work on me. At this point I'm still in therapy, but making great progress! Pretty much pain free, getting stronger and restoring my range of motion. I can also sleep without waking with pain. These guys know the exact exercises I need, and are experts on the proper way to do them. They are patient and encouraging. They know when to push and when to ease back. I'm confident I'll come out of therapy much better than I was before the injury. If you are discouraged and think you may have to "settle" on your health and activity, give KC Rehab a chance. I have been trying to schedule an appointment with them after my surgery for over 3 weeks. I asked by doctor to use this group instead of their group as I liked Kyle. However, this place has gone to the dogs. they don't call you back. When I finally talked to Lisa, she promised to call me back. nothing. Terrible service. Look, if they are booked and don't want my business that is fine, but have the common friggin courtesy to call me back and tell me. I have been sitting here, wanting to get started on PT and they have no respect for anyone. I have since found another qualified PT group who actually called me back in like 5 minutes. KU Sports Medicine has gone the way of its basketball program, right down the tubes.

Both injuries had become chronic and nothing had helped significantly until I was finally steered in the right direction. I have been really diligent with my exercises for both injuries and have improved by leaps and bounds! I imagine all of their therapists are good but I worked with Megan and I highly recommend her! The only reason why I am not leaving a 5 star review is that their services are VERY expensive. If you've got good insurance then that shouldn't be a problem but I mine has a very high deductible so I did have to pay a significant amount of money out of pocket for the physical therapy. It was worth every penny but still very expensive.

Serc made a horrible first impression, when I called to confirm, I found out they scheduled me at this location instead of the one closest to my house.it would've been embarrassing, if I showed up, on time, at the wrong location, given the 4 stars. I went to this location, in apprehension. But I was met with the nicest people. I have Callie as a physical therapist. She worked my shoulder for 45 minutes.i felt like i'd had deep tissue massage. I laid on a therapy table, and allowed her (sometimes painfully) to pull and stretch my arm. She gave me exercises to do at home, and I'm thrilled to be going back next Thursday. If you need a physical therapist, this is a good place to check out. Just be precise what location you are being scheduled.
